So excited to go to London and experience this great city in amazing accommodations!! Being an IHG member we were excited to book our stay through a recommended hotel in the app. The overall experience was acceptable. Pluses included the proximity to the things we had planned and the upgraded room with a balcony. We know what there London rooms can be like!! So a few minuses about this property. The hotel has elevator issues and this caused so many delays. The hotel staff was less than helpful and never answered the phone when calling for information. Unsavory types were often outside the hotel doors and no one from the hotel chased them off which led to unsafe conditions. Overall this is a 3/5 stay which could have easily been a 5/5 if not for these specific incidents. For 6 nights, this was a $4574 proposition, at $657 per day. The 9 th floor staff was great and we appreciated them so much! Read the reviews as a whole to make your decision about this property.

I stayed at this hotel last week and was trapped in the elevator for 50 minutes while the service that answers the emergency bell (offsite) had to contact a sub contractor to come release me. What drove me nuts is that I could not communicate with the people at the front desk because IHG only has a generic call center in the Philippines, so they didn't even know one of their elevators was down and a guest trapped for many minutes later. I was promised IHG points as compensation but did not receive them. When i followed up asking why the points were not paid to my account, I have been ignored. Very disappointing.

Great rooftop and food, but some service and amenity hiccups My wife and I recently stayed here for three nights. Overall, it’s a decent base for a London trip, but there were definitely some pros and cons. The Good: The hotel was very clean throughout our stay. The location is great—about a 15-minute walk from a lot of the main action in London City, which was very convenient. The absolute highlight was the rooftop bar, which has a fantastic vibe. We also really enjoyed the food; at around £25 per person for a continental buffet plus an à la carte option, it was tasty and decently priced for London. The Not-So-Good: Our biggest complaint was communication regarding a fire alarm test. It went off twice during our short stay and woke us up. While there was a single sign by the elevator (which we missed), the concierge absolutely should have informed us at check-in. Additionally, the hotel has two incredibly small and slow elevators (fitting only about 4 people max). To make matters worse, one was down for maintenance the entire time we were there, so we ended up just taking the stairs most of the time. The rooms are also on the smaller side. Verdict: It’s a clean hotel with great food and views, but they need to improve their guest communication and elevator reliability.

I am a Diamond Elite member with IHG and have stayed in many of their hotels. My experience with Indigo Leicester Square was very unsatisfactory and will not be staying there again. Firstly they overcharged my by 500 pounds and they struggled to refund me when asked. Later they told me it had to go through revenue management. Their staff clearly did not know process and system for refund. Secondly basic equipment in the room like TVs did not work. And lastly the elevator has been broken for over a week meaning that you can wait for a long time or take the steps. I was on Level 5 so was quite a workout!

Stayed there for 3 nighty on a business trip. the hotel is at Leicester square right in the middle of everything important in central london. Very good tube connections, hundreds of restaurant at every price point and China town is just adjacent. The staff welcomed me and upgraded my room. the room is in a very good condition, very clean and the Air conditioner worked flawlessly. The restaurant at the top floor serve very good breakfeast and in the evening is a lively bar. noise can be an issue from outside but that's the price you pay to be in the middle of the west end and everything, but after midnight it calms down. I highly recommend it for anyone coming to London for sighseeing and tourist attractions.
