We had a fantastic stay. Mohammed, who looked after us at breakfast, was an absolute pleasure. He was so friendly, helpful and thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble and he really made our mornings enjoyable.
The rooms were spotless, the air conditioning was excellent (very much appreciated in the heat!), and the shower had brilliant pressure with a consistently perfect temperature.
The location was ideal for our trip, with easy access to both the British Museum and Hyde Park. Despite being in central London, we slept really well every night.
We’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I have had a few stays here over the last few months and have always had a great experience with comfortable rooms, welcoming staff and lovely food. They were fully booked for this visit but we’ve popped in for drinks and food over the last couple of days. We want to say a big thank you to Aleena who made us feel especially welcome as we came in escaping the extreme heat. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very attentive. Her winning smile, helpful and friendly attitude made us feel very welcome and we will certainly be back.

Dear Management
I am not a hotel guest. I am staying in a nearby apartment for three weeks.
I discovered the hotel's lovely terrace and i wanted to have dinner there. (7 a clock pm). There were no service staff around, so i went to the restaurant to place an order. I was told that food is not served on the terrace, so i dined inside instead. The food was very good.
I went back next day, and- lo and behold- there was service and food was bring served on the terrace. The following days, however, there was no service again. It was the same story over the next few days.
As i mentioned, the terrace is beautiful and peaceful, but i find it baffing that it is not maintained and that there is no service provided there.
Inside the restaurant, there were always at least four service staff members and one or two restaurant managers on duty.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury by IHG was truly unforgettable.
This was our first time in London — a trip we had dreamed about for a very long time, especially because it was our son’s dream to visit this wonderful city. We stayed for seven days, and they became some of the most beautiful and meaningful days we have ever experienced as a family.
What made this journey so special was not only London itself, but above all the incredible people we had the privilege to meet at this hotel. From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness and care that made us feel truly at home.
We would especially like to express our deepest gratitude to three extraordinary people: Lita, Lopes and Sheila.
Lita welcomed us every single day with the most sincere and beautiful smile. Her kindness, affection and genuine care deeply touched our hearts. She made us feel like family and turned this hotel into much more than simply a place to stay — it became a place full of warmth and beautiful memories. She is someone we will carry in our hearts forever and one of the main reasons why we would love to return to this hotel one day.
We would also like to thank Lopes who, being Portuguese like us, immediately made us feel even closer to home. Always generous, friendly and available, he guided and helped us with great kindness and made our experience even more special. He is also someone we will never forget.
A special thank you as well to Sheila at reception for the friendly and efficient way she handled our check-out, allowing us to leave at 2 PM instead of 12 PM.
There are many beautiful hotels in the world, but what truly makes a hotel exceptional are the people who work there. People like Lita, Lopes and Sheila are the soul of this place and made our experience absolutely unforgettable.
London is undoubtedly a beautiful city full of history and charm, but what impressed us the most was the kindness and willingness of people to help those arriving from another country. In such a big city, that makes all the difference.
Because of this wonderful experience, we will always recommend London to our friends and family — and especially the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury by IHG, a beautiful renovated hotel full of charm and with an excellent breakfast.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our first trip to London so magical. We will never forget it.
With love from Portugal,
José, Elisabete, André and Carmo

Spent three nights at this hotel June 2026. It has recently been refurbished so everything looked really good. Check in was quick and efficient. We asked for a quiet room and we weren't disappointed as you wouldn't know how close you were to the main road. We planned on having one evening meal there but ended up having two, this was due to the friendly and efficient staff, particularly Aleena who made us welcome. Breakfast was always good plenty of choice and well presented. Check out was as good as Check in and we could leave our baggage safely. Next time in London this will be my choice.
