  Wir waren für das ABBA Voyage Konzert hier und absolut begeistert. Die Lage ist sehr gut – die Arena und die Bahn sind super schnell erreichbar. Das Zimmer war überraschend groß, sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. Der Service war top, das Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Gerne wieder!

  I just wanted to share this review to say a special thanks to Tasnim, who made this stay more personal. It's the small touches that make business trips much more meaningful, from remembering my preferences to suggesting little things that helped to make my stay easier, such as in-room dining.   Booked a stay for the ABBA Voyage show. Don’t normally do reviews for UK hotels, but I wanted to thank the hotel for a wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a super friendly member of staff, who offered my wife and I a complementary drink as it was our wedding anniversary. The room itself was very comfortable. Good bed, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and a huge shower with dove shower products. We asked for a room on a higher floor and were given a room on floor 6 which is the highest floor. After the concert, we headed back to the hotel for drinks at the bar which was open until 1am. The following day, we enjoyed a good breakfast before leaving. Thank you Holiday Inn.

  I had a booking issue caused by an IHG system error that resulted in my name being incorrect on the reservation. While this wasn’t the hotel’s fault at all, the reception team, namely Klaudia, Tanvia and Aysha, went above and beyond to help resolve it. What really stood out was their willingness to take ownership. Over the past month, I’ve had similar issues at Kimpton and Crowne Plaza; both supposed to be higher end but both simply told me to contact IHG directly rather than trying to help. Holiday Inn Express Stratford was the only one that actually stepped up, worked through the problem, and got it sorted for me. Great example of what hospitality should actually look like. Highly recommend this property for their staff and service alone.

  We stayed for two nights as we had booked for Abba and the hotel exceeded expectations. The staff wouldn't be out of place in a 4* hotel. We have rarely encountered such friendly, polite, professional and engaged staff, and this was right throughout the hotel. All made eye contact, smiled, greeted us, offered help at the buffet and responded immediately to any requests, showing pride in doing a good job. For a fairly budget hotel this was exceptional, and a big thank you to all, you made our stay! The beds were very comfy, there was a choice of pillows and the buffet breakfast was good. We asked for a lighter duvet and it arrived within minutes. Our room was clean and well maintained. The location was great for Abba and under 10 minute walk to Stratford station with DLR links to tube stations and Westfield. Just the surrounding area isn't great, not unsafe or anything, but nothing much nearby in the way of bars, cafes, restaurants.
