Brilliant service from all the staff who were professional, friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean, lovely and cool during this hot weather and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast and would thoroughly recommend. Also good value for money.

Looking for the perfect place to stay in London to reach the city center in a flash and settle in with comfort? Holiday Inn Express London - Park Royal is a real gem.
The location is an absolute dream. The tube station is literally a minute's walk away—you step out of the hotel and you're already on the platform. There’s a bus stop right across the street, and the area is packed with shops and cozy cafes. Since the busy street is close by, you can sometimes hear a bit of city noise in the room, but a pair of earplugs completely solves this.
Inside, everything is thought out to the last detail. A neat tea and coffee station awaits you in the room, complete with a kettle, good coffee, and a great selection of tea—and the staff thoughtfully replenishes the supply every single morning.
Everything else is just as it should be too: spotless cleanliness, fresh bedding, and super friendly staff. And, of course, a special shout-out goes to the hearty breakfast included in the stay. The coffee wakes you right up, the croissants melt in your mouth, and there’s a great variety to fuel up for a long day of exploring.
Highly recommended, I would definitely stay here again!

⭐ 1/5 — "12 Days of Disappointment: A Masterclass in How Not to Run a Hotel"**
I rarely write reviews, but after 12 days at Holiday Inn Park Royal London, I feel an obligation to warn future guests — and frankly, to hold the management accountable.
Let me be direct: this stay was expensive, exhausting, and thoroughly disappointing from start to finish.
**The Room — Not What You're Paying For**
For a branded IHG property, the room condition was embarrassing. Cleanliness was inconsistent at best — surfaces that clearly hadn't been properly wiped down, bathroom grout that told a story of years of neglect, and housekeeping that seemed to operate on its own mysterious schedule. For a stay of 12 nights, basic upkeep should be a given, not a luxury.
**Maintenance — Broken and Staying That Way**
Issues with the room were flagged to staff. Nothing was fixed. A hotel that charges what this one does has absolutely no excuse for leaving maintenance problems unresolved for days on end. It speaks to a systemic culture of indifference, not just an off day.
**Noise — Forget Sleeping**
Sleep deprivation should not be a feature of a hotel stay. Noise — whether from corridors, neighbouring rooms, the trains running next to the hotel with no insulation around the windows etc. or the building itself — was a recurring problem throughout the 12 nights. There is nothing more demoralising than lying awake in a hotel room you've paid good money for, unable to rest.
**The Food — A Genuine Low Point**
Breakfast was, on most mornings, underwhelming. For a hotel of this scale and price point, the quality and variety on offer felt like an afterthought. A proper breakfast sets the tone for the day — Holiday Inn Park Royal consistently failed to deliver even that small comfort.
**The Staff — Indifferent and Unaccountable**
This is perhaps the most damning aspect of the entire stay. I raised complaints. They were acknowledged with the kind of hollow politeness that makes it clear nothing will be done — and nothing was. Good hospitality isn't about scripted responses; it's about actually resolving problems. The staff here appeared either unwilling or untrained to do so. Management, if you're reading this: your guests should not have to repeatedly ask for basic standards to be met, only to be met with shrugs and empty assurances.
**Value for Money — Absolutely None**
12 days. Significant money spent. What did I get? A tired room, broken facilities, indifferent service, pathetic food (breakfast), and disrupted sleep. The Holiday Inn brand carries an expectation of reliability and comfort. Park Royal does not live up to it.
To the management: a hotel's reputation is built night by night, guest by guest. You have a serious problem with standards and accountability. I hope this review reaches someone with the authority — and the will — to actually do something about it.
I would not return. I would not recommend it.
First level of experience at check in was subpar. Breakfast was an absolute waste, stale hash browns and powdered eggs. At the time when the hotel was filled with 50% muslim guests and requested better vegetarian options, we were told this is complimentary - lame and sad customer service.
Staff in general was not friendly and welcoming, felt like a bother to be guests at their hotel. We spent 1700£ for 12 days and it was a massive waste, probably the worst IHG experience.
Rooms are old and dusty, cleaning was very basic and train noise can be disturbing.
Best part was proximity to the train station and ease of commute.
