The most incredible four seasons, let alone hotel in general! The manager, Poorna, made my husband and I feel so welcomed and cared for. Every staff member remembered little details and made every experience phenomenal. The city was a lovely time but our highlight was staying here. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you so much Poorna!
From the initial enquires to entry, treatment and exit. Everything was exceptional. The spa receptionists and therapists was amazing. I would definitely be visiting regularly. World class service from all staff

One of the worst afternoon tea experiences I’ve had in London, starting with the service and ending with unbaked scones. There was no explanation of where to start and no recommendations on which tea would pair well with the savoury and sweet items.
The menu says “cake,” but we received just one to share between two people, while the single person sitting next to us received a whole cake for themselves. There were no tea refills and no option to change the tea.
Absolutely not the Four Seasons standard I would expect. One of the waiters did try to rescue the situation with sparkling tea, and he was very nice, but I wouldn’t come back unless the overall experience improves. Collaborations with influencers do not consistently succeed, and this instance certainly did not.
We went for an impromptu afternoon tea on 13 August while waiting for my husband to get his hair done at the in-house Gielly Green salon, and it turned into one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had – incredibly creative and such an experience.
Don’t come expecting traditional afternoon tea sandwiches. Instead, you get really interesting, high-end little dishes that feel much more special. The matcha tiramisu was genius, but the absolute highlight for me was the scones. Gosh, possibly the best scones I’ve ever eaten! They were almost a cross between a scone and a pastry – I have no idea how they made them, but they were delicious.
We also had a cake which accidentally ended up on the floor (toddler life!), and they very kindly replaced it. Whatever the icing/cream cheese frosting was, it was absolutely delicious.
The whole place is just beautiful. Gorgeous bathrooms, fresh flowers everywhere and stunning antique pieces – it almost feels like walking around a museum. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all, just quiet, peaceful and really lovely.
What made it even better was the staff. Despite turning up with a toddler, a baby and looking like a slightly haggard crazy person myself, nobody made me feel uncomfortable or out of place! For somewhere so beautiful and high-end, it didn’t feel pretentious at all. Everyone was warm, patient and genuinely kind.
A special thank you to Ruth, the gentleman who helped with the cake situation and was so lovely to my son, and the concierge team who gave him a colouring pack and let us charge his tablet while we waited. Even the other guests were lovely.
Beautiful surroundings, genuinely excellent and creative food, wonderful staff and surprisingly good value for the quality of the experience. There’s affordable parking nearby too, which was another bonus.
It wasn’t just afternoon tea – it genuinely felt like an experience. Absolutely worthwhile and we would definitely come back.

We love a four seasons… a colleague had mentioned that this was her ritziest hotel experience in london and it was luxurious. We booked with Amex travel and delighted in an upgrade to the spacious cooper suite which had incredibly high ceilings and gorgeous craftsmanship. It was also absolutely soundproof and the blackout curtains rocked. We enjoyed a tasty chicken katsu sandwich for lunch and swanky cocktails at the bar one evening and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return. Felt like every staff member reached out to us to personally connect too!
