For anyone looking for an outstanding afternoon tea in central London, the Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge should be high on your list.
From the moment you arrive, the friendly door staff set a warm and welcoming tone. Our host, Keiran, was excellent — friendly, attentive, and happy to talk us through the menu and how the afternoon tea would be served. He also handled a food allergy in our group with no fuss at all, which was greatly appreciated.
The tea selection is impressive and comprehensive. We were especially pleased to learn that many teas can be served chilled over ice — a perfect option on a very hot day.
The savoury course was superb. The standout was the white crab with potato terrine, but every item was beautifully prepared with clear attention to quality and detail. The sweet selection was equally strong. The scones with jam and clotted cream were excellent, but the Matcha Tiramisu (with fresh fruit filling and beautiful presentation) was a real highlight. The collaboration with Lily Vanilli clearly elevates this afternoon tea from good to exceptional.
Overall, this is one of the best-value luxury afternoon teas in London when you consider the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the stunning setting. Being right next to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London is an added bonus.
