This was not breakfast. This was a food experience up there with the best we have ever had anywhere!
We had an early appointment to have their breakfast tasting menu and it was outstanding from start to finish.
Utterly professional, utterly delicious and utterly unforgettable!
The food was hugely plentiful and there was a drinks pairing option as well.
We sat at the counter which allowed us to watch the artists (to call them chefs doesn't do them justice!) create beautiful dishes for our benefit.
From the moment we were met by Emily and Claudia until we finished it was absolutely perfect.
Special mention to Marco who was our personal host and explained all the dishes to us. Grazie mille Marco!
However pride of place goes to the culinary geniuses Abbie and Nicolas (ciao amico!). Watching them work as well as directing and conducting all the dishes as they left the kitchen area was a really unique and pleasurable experience!
Both chefs were more than happy to engage with us asound the food and how they created it.
Absolutely wonderful experience!
Thank you all e grazie mille!!

Whether it’s staying for several days, popping in for a drink, to pick up a candle or diffuser at the spa or just to say hi to the lovely team in passing, this hotel is special and staffed by really special people.
In every department (concierge, rooms, cleaning, turndown, special requests, management), I find they go above and beyond time and again.
Hospitality is such a tough industry; staff at top hotels are expected to do and be the impossible. Where they fall short, I’m certain it’s largely isolated and/or speaks to our own unrealistic demands as clients.
Four Seasons on Park Lane is a fantastic hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Put sone effort into your engagement with the staff and you’ll get it back ten-fold.

Stay Summary: We stayed for 4 nights as a family with our 1-year-old. At a price point of €1,000 per night, we give the overall experience a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
The Review:
We recently stayed at the Four Seasons Park Lane for 4 nights. While the property itself is gorgeous and perfectly located, our experience as a family left us quite disappointed, as the service and attention to detail did not align with the premium price point.
The Positives:
Aesthetics & Comfort: The hotel is beautifully maintained with fresh flowers and stunning decor throughout. Our room was a decent size for London, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Breakfast Quality: The morning meals were fantastic and served in a lovely, relaxed setting.
Location: Perfectly situated for exploring the city.
The Negatives:
Family-Friendly Claims Missed the Mark: We specifically chose this property because it advertises itself as baby-friendly, and I explicitly made our reservation for three guests. What makes the experience particularly frustrating is the check-in process: before I even introduced myself, the staff greeted me by name, clearly recognizing us precisely because we arrived with our baby. Despite this immediate acknowledgment at the front desk, there was no baby cot in our room and zero baby amenities provided. After two days of interacting with the staff and concierge—always with our baby present—we finally raised the issue with reception. We were genuinely surprised by their response: "We didn't know you had a baby." When they did try to rectify the situation, we received a rather thoughtless basket that included diapers handed to us in a ziplock bag. For a 5-star hotel charging €1,000 a night, we expected a much more proactive, seamless, and thoughtful approach to family care.
Inconsistent Service: The staff is clearly well-intentioned and friendly, but the delivery is highly inconsistent. For example, at breakfast one morning, we were offered to sample the "juice of the day," but the next day, it wasn't offered at all. We also experienced forgotten orders and general lapses in attention that shouldn't happen at this tier.
Breakfast Pricing: While the food quality is aligned with fine dining, the pricing feels a bit unreasonable. Paying £22 for a very small plate of fruit is steep, even for Park Lane. Spending £150+ for a family breakfast with small portions felt like poor value, especially given the inconsistent service.
The Verdict:
The Four Seasons Park Lane has a great hard product—comfortable rooms, beautiful decor, and a prime location. However, at this price point, guests expect anticipatory, flawless service. Given the inconsistencies and the surprising lack of care regarding our family's needs, we felt let down. In a market like London, you can certainly find more attentive and genuinely family-friendly luxury experiences elsewhere.

The Four Seasons Park Lane offers the high-end polish the brand is known for, but it missed several marks for such a premium price. While clearly a 5-star property, it fell short of the meticulous perfection usually associated with the name.
Room Design & Amenities
Renovated rooms are sleek but impractical. The closet is small and doorless, and the bathroom and closet share a single light switch—a midnight bathroom trip illuminates the dressing area and wakes your partner. Also, there is no proper swimming pool, only a spa vitality pool, which is a letdown for a flagship Four Seasons.
Dining & Service
Breakfast is strictly a la carte and was consistently slow with multiple order errors. More surprising was the afternoon tea service; I expected the sweets to be a courtesy, but pastries were awkwardly displayed with price tags. This is a basic amenity even 4-star hotels often provide for free.
Marathon Experience
The biggest stressor was a communication breakdown on marathon morning. Despite pre-confirming a breakfast bag, I was told on race day they were only for "official groups." While a manager eventually resolved it and sent a post-race treat, the initial stress was the worst marathon-day hotel experience I've had in years.
Verdict
This is a high-caliber 5-star hotel, but the design quirks and service gaps make the high cost hard to justify. It offers signature luxury but lacks the effortless perfection that defines the brand.
