I stayed here for the first time with my elderly parents, sister, nephew and two children and had a great overall experience. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. Teresa was attentive and promptly cleared away tables. She regularly checked with us if we were ok and needed anything each morning. Teresa is very good with children and cheered my 6 year old nephew up. Teresa is an asset to the hotel and should be rewarded and recognised for all her hard work and dedication to the job!! The only downfall was the fold up bed that was very uncomfortable in both our family rooms. Good location to London centre. I'd recommend this hotel to friends and family and would come and stay here again!!

What a wonderful hotel. So close to the station, businesses, and its English breakfast itself is palatable (plate-able?) Teresa and co. made the experience so welcoming. Teresa in particular really knows how to handle customers in a professional manner and balance it all and it shows! Mable helped me out, and so did the gentleman who has been on shift with Teresa alot this week week (August 18 - 23) in the mornings (name escaping me because I'm the worst but they are the best!) Really enjoyed my stay here and was a pleasure to see England in such a convenient manner!

The worst Premier Inn of all that we have ever stayed in - 6 nights stay a few weeks back Good things: Very kind staff called Steveno - went out of his way to help us despite having to work double shift when he knew that we had broken aircon in our room. Terrible experience: Unclear policy at the point of use re: long stayers have to request bin liner change/ towel change. Bin liner was only changed after we had to chase and find a housekeeper/ bring to reception Can tell very short staffed - Highlight: Very rude staff named (i believe that was his name as there was no name display and can only go with what he said) Fahart - i felt physically unsafe to challenge the way that i was treated further- i felt threatened and uncofortable; he was dismissive in my reasonanable request to see the black and white of the policy that he claims they have in place regarding customers must request room cleaning the day before. When i was asking to speak with the manager, he said the manager was in a meeting. When I asked again regarding the black and white, he was still unable to show this and confirmed that he has no proof of it. Never had such a terrible experience with any premier inns that we have stayed in before. This guy was a disgrace to the rest of his colleagues who were trying to go out of their way to help dispite being short of staff.

I would like to address the Premier Inn hotel in Croydon, London, specifically. Our stay went well, but the conduct of certain staff members needs improvement—particularly that of Teresa. She never smiles and comes across as unpleasant and insincere toward guests. She clearly plays favorites at the hotel, and it shows. Language skills also need work; London attracts a huge number of tourists, and some aren't comfortable with English. That is why hotels should employ bilingual staff to ensure good communication with guests. I believe there was a breakdown in communication and a misunderstanding with Teresa. I would advise Teresa to be friendlier, more approachable, and more understanding with guests. On the other hand, I would like to thank Stéphane—another Premier Inn Croydon employee—for being understanding, cheerful, and genuine with us; he is one of the kindest people we met at the hotel.
