  All up to usual standard. Staff very helpful, not least as they had some maintenance problems to deal with. Did not cause me a problem.

  I would like to start with the rooms were very nice and the beds were extremely comfy although the rooms could definitely have been cleaner it was personally an issue for me. However come dinner time my food was extremely tasty, bbq wings to start and bbq rack of ribs for the main. My partners cuisine on the other hand was extremely poor, she had gotten the Caesar salad and was met with what can only be described as a bowl of lettuce with a slab of chicken on top, the sauce was watered down and the Parmesan was non existent as well as the croutons being absent. Now as for breakfast we were sat for half an hour waiting after being previously told a member of staff would be right with us to take our order and once the food arrived it was just okay and while mine was warm my partners was cold. That being said the selection of cereals and pastries were very nice. On top of that the staff were incredibly kind and the receptionist especially was lovely.

  My partner had originally booked this hotel for a night for us as a present . I want to start this off with the receptionist was lovely ; our room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfy . It could have been a little bit cleaner but it was nothing concerning . In terms of food I had a Caesar salad and I wouldn’t recommend it . The dressing was watered down no croutons very little Parmesan and it came with corn and tomatoes and just felt like a big bowl of lettuce . However my partners bbq pork ribs was very nice , so maybe I could have just ordered the wrong thing . The breakfast the next day I wouldn’t do again . When we sat down it took over half an hour to take our breakfast order to the point my partner had to go ask staff can we order . When the food arrived it was cold and just ok . However the pastries were nice and there was a good choice of cereals and other breakfast items . I probably wouldn’t stay again

  From start to finish the visit exceeded expectations as we'd never stayed here before and we we're anxious due to needing to be near the hospital, staff we're so friendly, engaged in conversation and extremely helpful. Couldn't fault anything, great room, spacious, loved the blackout curtains 🤣 we'll certainly be back to stay for a shopping trip. The food too was delicious, (I recommend the smothered chicken). And dont get me started on the breakfast, beautiful and plenty of options. Thank you for making our stay much more relaxed and easier.

  Had two nights here at £115 a night 8/9th september. No complajnts re staff or food, all good. My bug bear was quality of the room, very tired, wallpaper and paint peeling off both in bedroom and bathroom, scratch marks, dust on skirting, bath panel blistered. I would not wish to oay even £80 for this room. No one cleaned our room, cups dirty when we got back. The creaking floors both under our feet and people walking above it was awful, we lay awake at 3in morning listening to it, totally unsatifactory. NEEDS A UPDATE!
