This Hotel would of been Outdated in 1999. Clear Modern features lacking when compared to places like Holiday Inn. Good room space but that was the only upside. There was no Aircon this I can somewhat excuse but other Premier Inns have A/C. In summer this makes the sleeping aspect very uncomfortable. The poor cleaning Staff were dripping in sweat but apparently Staff comfort isn't considered either. There was no safe to put belongings, or a fridge to store drinks. The wardrobe i use that term loosely looked more like a pop up idea. The reality is they say this is a budget hotel but it's no cheaper then an Holiday Inn which is simply a better Hotel. I was staying for a wedding so had to be there if I didn't id of checked myself out inside of 10 mins of being there.

Lovely staff here so friendly so helpful . Easy check in no dramas. Exterior of Hotel is a bit shabby not helped by people parking on the verge directly in front of guests windows. Reception all good . Room was clean and tidy but very tired looking particularly the bathroom with 1980’s wall tiles and vinyl flooring that was squishy (which I still can’t work out why like sinking into a sponge) a door that wouldn’t shut without a wrestle. On arrival we found there to be only 1 bath towel and hand towel for 2 of us, this however was easily and cheerfully rectified by going to reception and speaking with the great staff member on duty. All in for the price it was ok. The Beefeater was underwhelming forgot our starters the main was small and very dry neutral tasting food. Bar had some good deals on though, however it lacked atmosphere but hotels can be like this. Breakfast here was actually very good on all counts.

Room very tired and dated. Carpets need replacing. Women on reception when we arrived. Very abrupt not welcoming at all. Probably one of the worst Premier inns I've stayed in.

DRIVERS BEWARE. Stayed in Scunthorpe Premier Inn due to my parents situation in a local Care Home. I have stayed a number of times previously. When I checked in, as per normal, I completed the piece of paper I was given by the receptionist, and recorded my nationality and car registration number. No further info / advice was given by the receptionist. A week or so later, I received a Parking Penalty through the post. I rang Scunthorpe Premier Inn regarding this and was told that there is a new system for parking and you have to enter your car reg number into a tablet and that there are a number of signs saying this. I said that I had stayed a number of times and had signed in the same as normal and there was no prompt from the receptionist that entering the details in the tablet was required. The response again was that there are a number of signs regarding the tablet. Following this conversation, I complained to Premier Inn via the online feedback form and after 6 days received an email only saying that the best way is to go to the Parking company directly stating that I had stayed at the Premier Inn and give the booking details. Not really the helpful response that I was hoping for. As the response had taken several days, and no guarantee that any appeal would be successful, I paid the £60 fine rather than a £100 fine if the appeal was unsuccessful. So overall a very unsatisfactory situation for a Premier Inn that has free parking. For future visits, the Travelodge at Scunthorpe will now be my preferred option.

We stayed here as we had a wedding. Plenty of parking. It was handy having Beefeater next door. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ok. The bath needs replacing as there were small chunks. It was also to high which I found difficult to get in n out of..
