- JHJustin HowardMay 29, 20265.0We stayed just for two nights, predominantly to visit the Cathedral and Castle. Room 208 checked in 26/05/2026 Staff could not do enough to make our stay any better. Freindly, courteous and professional but with a appearance of caring. The room was a standard double on 2nd floor and could not fault the room. Would have liked a fridge but that was just a wish on most places we stay. Whilst the hotel is slightly out of the way, there were very frequent buses to the city and a day ticket will get you just about anywhere, including up Steep Hill (thank god!!) We would definitely return and highly recommend the Holiday Inn express 👍

From the friendly check in where they provided a dog welcome pack to the greeting at the daily breakfast, we loved our stay. The only issue we experienced was the small bed and duvet, and the pillows weren’t very comfortable. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Lincoln, especially if you’re travelling with your dog!
- GSGurinderjit SinghMay 26, 20261.0I visited holiday inn Lincoln city centre on 25/05/2026 with my family we were a group of 8 (4 adults 4 children) this was a Monday bank holiday, when we arrived on Sunday evening after our visit to Skegness beach the lady on the desk called launa (she was very helpful and accommodating) she told us the breakfast will be served until 10:30 am as it was a bank holiday Monday, when I got up in the morning I went downstairs and spoke with Luke who was at the desk I asked him about the breakfast timing he said breakfast is on until 10am I explained to him I was told last that the breakfast is on until 10:30 as it was a bank holiday, Luke was very intimidating, I found him very rude and unhelpful, my 2 boys managed to get some breakfast for all on us at around 9:50 and we felt very rushed, when my wife and sister asked Luke for some tea and coffee from the counter to take to the rooms he was very rude and said you need to check out at 11 my wife and sister felt very uncomfortable in this situation. Overall I always stay at holiday inn when travelling in the UK as I find it very accommodating and the breakfast is a bonus but my stay at the Lincoln city centre was not as accommodating.
