  So we stayed at this location for two nights this week. As you enter the car park of the hotel the tarmac is broken up and there are numerous pot holes. The car park needs re surfacing and new bays marked out properly it’s a mess. Then you go to the front of the hotel where i would describe the paths and front area tatty and worn out with weeds growing across the stone surface. The room was ok and the staff were polite and helpful. (I hasten to add this review is not about the staff but it’s about premier inn ownership and maintenance). When we went over to the separate restaurant for dinner we were handed a limited choice paper sheet menu and limited drinks available. I understand that only three tap beers will be available going forward as the development takes place. Food was ok and service ok. But as you sat down and ate it just looked the whole place was on its last legs. Outside the pub the garden is a mess all overgrown and weed infested bushes. Tables and chairs have seen better days as well. The second night e couldn’t have dinner as the chef went sick and they had no replacement so just a beer was had unless you were like the other guests ordering just eat takeaways to be delivered. And I understand there won’t be any dinners this weekend either. Overall very poor so Much so I needed to write this post. I wish I had taken some pictures but I’m sure those guests that are there now or recent will echo my thoughts and views. Not good enough premier inn visit the site for yourselves and take note please.

  Very good rooms just basic but everything u need I was visiting skeggy which was bit out of the way but love the views in the country side

  Great place to stay night before butlins Skegness. Lovely restaurant called the mill just round the corner

  Nice room. Comfy bed. No air-conditioning on a very hot night. Pity.
