Parking can be an utter nightmare, I have had trouble every time I have stayed here. The car park isnt big enough and it is also a whole side quest just to get to it. The room was fine, the breakfast is nice. Checked in using a machine whilst 2 workers stood chatting in the restaurant seems a bit counter-productive, also I couldn't ask any questions - eg what time the restaurant opens etc. The blonde lady who took my breakfast order in the restaurant is an absolute star though, very lovely lady, very welcoming, warm and friendly.

Stayed two nights. Limited menu with meal deal but even more Limited when two items were missing from menu. The ping from the kitchen said all were microwaved. Waited 40 mins on first morning for a poorly cooked badly presented breakfast making me late for an event i was attending. Even worse second morning. Waited for 1hr 20mins for breakfast, food was so poor. We complained but because we had it as part of Premier Inns free breakfast deal, no recompense and Premier Inns response is its ok to serve rubbish if its free. If you stay here rooms ok but eat and certainly breakfast elsewhere.

A tale of two halves. We booked the meal deal prior to arriving. “There is no fish” , we were told on entering the menu , so one item down from the limited menu. I asked for a pint of Coors. “There is no Coors, we don’t do draught” we were told , despite it being on the drinks list. The food arrived , it was OK , but just ok and not worth the cost - the nearby Wetherspoons were we went to later looked far , far better. Breakfast was excellent , freshly cooked , better service and delicious. I have always chosen Premier Inn as my ‘go to’ , but recently a number of “we don’t do” or “we don’t have” at various Inns have soured this. The brand is quietly slipping downhill, the attention to detail isn’t there and customers are being dealt with as commodities and not guests. You need to improve and quickly , not just this hotel but a number across the chain.
