The pictures online are definitely deceiving! This hotel is very dirty and disgusting, the carpet walking to your room will almost have you puke! ( we stayed on the ground floor)!
Entering our room, it was extremely dusty and i couldn’t even sit on the toilet as it was brown and has trace of pee over it (Room 16) .We requested for a change and it was almost the same (Room 26).
on the noon of day 2 , I went to the front desk as i needed something , no staff was there for about 25 min! Even while ringing the bell , no response! Only to see them outside smoking! Ignoring!
Requested for service clean for the next day and nothing was done! Not even vacuum, the bathroom remained the same , the dust were still there .
Don’t book! This hotel needs renovation! I was so scared of my baby getting sick , don’t even go with your child! Absolutely dirty family room! The toilet smell!
I don't usually leave negative reviews, and I genuinely wish I didn't have to write this one.
I want to start by saying the reception staff were polite, understanding, and did try to help. Unfortunately, the biggest issue wasn't them—it was the condition of the room and the complete lack of housekeeping standards.
My family and I checked in on 24th July and were due to stay until 27th July. We arrived quite late, and as soon as we walked into the room, it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned properly. The room was dusty, the carpet was filthy, and the bathroom was in a shocking state with visible mould. It wasn't somewhere you wanted your family to stay, but because it was late at night and the children were exhausted, we had no choice but to stay and speak to reception the following morning.
Reception apologised and assured me that housekeeping would thoroughly clean the room while we were out for the day. I thought that was a fair resolution.
Sadly, when we returned that evening, it looked like nothing had been done. The room was still dusty, the carpets hadn't been vacuumed, and the bathroom was exactly the same. There was even a piece of chewing gum on the floor when we checked in. After housekeeping had supposedly been in, the chewing gum hadn't been removed—it had literally just been kicked to one side. That pretty much summed up the standard of cleaning we experienced.
The room telephone didn't work, the carpet was heavily stained, the bathroom felt unhygienic, and the whole room just felt neglected. It wasn't somewhere you could relax, and certainly not somewhere you'd expect to stay with your family.
At that point, I decided enough was enough. Reception refunded me for the final night and also refunded the Saturday night, which I appreciated, but by then the damage had already been done. Because it was late again, we had no option but to stay one more night before moving elsewhere.
I've actually stayed at this hotel before, in 2024, and had a completely different experience. Back then it felt clean, fresh, and well looked after. This visit couldn't have been more different. Even the stairwells were dirty, giving the impression that cleanliness throughout the hotel had simply been neglected.
I understand hotels get busy during the summer holidays, but being busy should never be an excuse for poor hygiene. Cleanliness is the absolute minimum guests should expect, regardless of whether a hotel is three stars or five.
For our final night, we booked another three-star hotel, and the difference was night and day. It was spotless, welcoming, and comfortable, and my family could finally relax.
It's a real shame because this hotel has the potential to be much better. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can't recommend it. The reception staff deserve credit for trying to help, but they were left trying to fix problems that should never have existed in the first place.
