Whether you want to indulge in a shopping spree at Leeds Trinity Shopping centre just 15 minutes drive away or have a leisurely stroll through Temple Newsam Park just one Junction up the M1. Leeds City Centre is only 5 miles away and is accessible by Park and Ride directly from the hotel.

Unfortunately thats not the case, I stayed for two nights on whilst visiting the area on business. The room was clean but the carpets were heavily stained and I would equate the standard to a days inn motel type room. I reported on leaving the fact that the drainage in the room was bad, 20 mins for the sink to drain and the shower flooded on to the floor as soon as I turned the shower on! The reception staff really didn't seem to care. The food was awful, long waits, alot of the menu was unavailable and it was clearly microwaved. The breakfast was ok, a good choice but the meat was under cooked. The one positive was the evening staff were friendly and apologetic about the menu being limited, our first choices were not available and they only found out after we had ordered, which wasn't fair on them.
- JJJJun 12, 20262.0Don't be deceived by the hotel's website photos. They try to give the image this is a classy hotel. Reality is that it's no better than a Travelodge. As you can read from the other reviews, it's a newish hotel that has not seen any refurb since it opened I guess several years ago. Peeling silicon around the shower. Weird smell in the corridors. Bathroom is small, you can hardly turn around in it. Toilet seat had a missing screw so was half coming off. The shower has half a glass screen...but the water splashes when having a shower as it goes through the other open half on to the bathroom floor...who on earth designed these showers!? Drinks station was well stocked...but DIRTY! Clearly hadn't seen a wash in years! Reception is poor...barely functional...arrived with no one there. After 5 mins someone turned up. Even a B&B is manned...yet this place isn't!? The ONLY positive is the location...on the edge of east Leeds, and has an artificial park/lake which is nice as is the food facilities of the service station immediately next door. ❌ But I do NOT RECOMMEND, and I would not stay here ever again! ❌
