What makes this location appealing is ultimately also its downfall. It's in the heart of Leeds' nightlife, which on Friday or Saturday amounts to levels of noise which some may find unbearable, through no fault whatsoever of the hotel. However, the windows are ancient and aren't adequately sound-proofed. Then there are the televisions, which don't work because there's no signal. The food offer is ok and staff are friendly but if you sit down and want something then you're going to have to actively gain the attention of servers. The rooms are like ovens until guests acquire the attention of the front desk. It's an unusual hotel in an unusual place. I value rest and the ability to sleep and will seek other options next time.

What can i say Bradley is the face of this place!! The most hospitable, friendly and professional person I’ve ever been served by. Upmost class from check in to check out. I booked this for one night away with my girlfriend and he made it so special for us… Bradley is a credit to not just the hotel but the hospitality industry. We will be back!!

We've stayed in this hotel a couple of times and it is fantastic. Great location, great comfort, and helpful friendly staff. Can't recommend highly enough.
Special thanks to Alex, who went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue with my booking that was entirely my own mistake. He was incredibly helpful, understanding and professional, and turned what could have been a stressful situation into a very positive experience. Customer service like that really makes a difference.

Had an amazing experience from start to finish. Was concerned about noise and room size based on other reviews but had absolutely no issues whatever. Rooms were perfectly sized, clean and had everything we needed. Minimal noise from the street and surrounding bars, and nothing that would keep anyone awake. Staff were amazing and we didn't want for anything. The chef even made me pancakes on top of the open buffet on the Sunday morning, which I was not expecting at all. Would absolutely return.

Being someone who travels a fair bit for work, I've stayed in a fair few hotels within our sceptred isle. I chose the Indigo in Leeds as have stayed in the Indigo in Liverpool and it was very pleasant.
Ordered the Banksia Burger in the Bar/Restaurant and even though there was a small delay in it arriving, the team were attentive and polite. I have to say that, even as a natural cynic, I was impressed by the food. The burger was fresh and cooked perfectly, the fries were fresh and hot (quite often they've sat under heat lamps for a fair while, these clearly weren't) and the onion rings the burger was served with were bang on.
So all in all very impressed - thank you Hotel Indigo.
PS. Also, the room I was in had incredibly effective air-conditioning. A Godsend when you've spent the last two nights in another hotel sweating your you-know-whats off.
