  I hate that the aircon turns itself on every 15 minutes or so! Couldn't sleep because it's very loud. Even when I took the card out of electric socket, the aircon would keep randomly turning itself on - meaning it's working even when the room isn't in use, how bad for the planet is that? Completely unnecessary. Please let people control their own aircon without forcing it on them.

  Came in the middle of summer and their aircon is broken in the bedrooms and has been for a few days. Works fine in the reception area though funnily enough. Get into the room, reeks of sewage, no towels, dirty surfaces. Did they even clean or just make the bed? Guy at reception was nice and sorted it swiftly enough, but still, into another sweltering room. May as well have done the trek home. Not impressed at all.

  Unfortunately, my wife was booked into this hotel during the recent UK heatwave. She was looking forward to her air-conditioned room (as advertised), but upon checking in, she was told that all in-room AC units were broken. Their only solutions were a basic fan or a refund if she didn't like it. Your comfort and convenience are clearly the least of their concerns. They should have had the decency to inform guests immediately when such a major issue occurred during a heatwave, rather than expecting them to scramble for alternative accommodation at 7 PM upon checking in.

  We recently stayed at this hotel in Leeds and Nikki at reception truly made our experience. From the moment we checked in she was warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and her friendly manner made us feel genuinely looked after. It’s rare to come across someone who takes such pride in their customer service. Nikki is an absolute asset to this hotel!

  A little bit out of the way but not horrific if youre just going into the town centre. Plenary of bus stops nearby. Great restaurant across the road and the breakfast they serve at the hotel itself is decent, rooms were clean and you can ask for any toiletries you forgot, air conditioner was very loud and we suspect it need a bit of a clean, if you’re in a south facing room you may suffer because of this. Staff were friendly, kind and very helpful.
