  Checking in there was a South Asian lady who was absolutely rude, she refused to give me her name as I informed her I will be making a formal complaint. Made me say my personal information (my address of my home & my email) out loud in front of other customers instead of requesting ID. Found this very unprofessional and a safety issue. On top of that this woman did not greet me with a nice smile or speak to me in a friendly manner, i had felt unwelcome by her tone, expression, attitude and had poor customer service skills. She needs more experience on how to greet customers. This same member of staff in the morning had invaded my privacy by opening the hotel room door whilst I was changing. She first knocked, we spoke with the door closed and I told her I was changing and she decided to abuse and take advantage of her rights as a hotel staff by using her keycard to open the door after being notified by myself that I was changing moments after. I told her I will be around 5/10minutes getting changed yet she persisted to harass me the whole time getting changed and said to me that I can only have 2 minutes. I find her attitude towards working very unacceptable due to the discomfort and distress she has caused me. I have never experienced such terrible customer service from any hotel staff previously let alone a professional company such as Premier Inn staff until then. I am a frequent customer to Premier Inn, I have made reservations with Premier Inn a countless amount of times and this experience has put me off booking with yourselves. I believe that your training should be more extensive when hiring staff and you should do an enhanced DBS check on your staff because clearly that South Asian Lady was not in the right state of mind if she’s opening a door after being told to wait 5/10mins for me to change and exit the room. Each time I have booked specifically Bradford South Premier Inn, I have never had an issue with any other member of staff except this specific one. She refused to give her name as I informed her I will be making a complaint against her and have been put off booking this hotel due to her unprofessionalism.

  The location of this hotel is very good, and the staff were welcoming and pleasant to deal with. However, the experience was let down by the dining and room maintenance. I ordered the ravioli for dinner, which cost approximately £13.50. As you can see from the attached photo, the portion size was incredibly small, working out to about £1 per individual pasta square. It was so tiny it wouldn't even satisfy a young child, making it exceptionally poor value for the price. Additionally, the shower gel dispenser in the bathroom was broken. The pump didn't work at all, so I had to take the bottle out of its wall rack and unscrew the cap just to pour the gel out. While the location are great, these details made the overall stay feel not so good.

  Thanks to everyone at the Prem for a fantastic stay - special thanks to Sharon on reception who was so charming and helpful! She even put my takeaway in the fridge for me overnight which I completely forgot to collect.....woops
