The hotel was wonderful, large room with two double beds, large TV, kettle and tea and coffee facilities, iron and board, hairdryer, shower and bath in a lovely modern bathroom. Lots of room to move around and everything we could want. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices, lovely cooked breakfast, cereal, toast, fruit, cereal, pastries etc and good choice of fruit juice, water and tea and coffee. Lovely and clean and spacious dining facilities. The server Fransisco was fantastic and checked everything was ok a few times as well as bringing us tea and coffee. Also yesterday the other server provided advice on attractions.Used items taken away promptly. I couldn't fault the breakfast at all. Only small thing wrong is shower 🚿 flow was a bit slow and water didn't go down the bath as quickly as it should have but apart from that everything was excellent ten out of ten.
My go-to when I’m working in Leicester.
Staff are awesome from entrance, makes the hotel seem so much more livelier and friendly.
Rooms are clean, and aircon is always working. Location is great with lots of parking next to the building from Euro Car Parks, discount’s at reception QR code, also works in RingGo but needs the code at reception to apply the discount.
Location is right in the centre so convenient to get anywhere.
Centrally located for town centre, pubs, clubs, museums, etc.
Car parking available (unsure if free for guests). Right next door to a multi storey car park.
There is a wheelchair access
2 huge elevators available
My room was huge. Comfortable bed, lots of plug points & usb ports. Tea/coffee facilities. Clean
Restaurant has very helpful staff, quality food, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend them
Bar available

We had never visited Leicester before and was a little concerned about the location of the hotel, we really needn't of been.
Close to everything, but couldn't hear a peep from inside (and we stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night). Staff were lovely! From the lady on reception (apologies didn't get her name) to Robert in the restaurant when we had breakfast everyone was fantastic! Would definitely recommend here to people and also if ever back that way will stay there again.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a positive experience. On this occasion, I would like to thank Eva on reception for her exceptional service. She upgraded our room to one with a fridge, and because we had an account with the hotel, we were able to check out at 1 pm. Eva was kind and empathetic when I explained that I have cancer and have undergone chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Although we left slightly late, she remained courteous and helpful throughout. At the end of my stay, Eva also offered me a drink and was very caring so I can praise her more if only all of the staff will like this. I was given no comfort despite the fact that I was crying uncontrollably. We always try and stay at this hotel as there is disabled parking, cameras outside which is reassuring as I have a brand-new car.
Incidents
My complaint concerns the housekeeping service and, to some extent, the way my concerns were handled by management. I have a Grade 3 brain tumour, which affects my memory and can cause confusion, so I am very particular about knowing where my belongings are and do not want them moved unnecessarily. I had specifically told a cleaner that my things were to remain untouched.
When we returned to the room, I found that several of my personal belongings had been moved or handled without my consent. My designer shoebox had disappeared and, although it was eventually found, the protective wrapping inside had been thrown away and the contents removed. My limited-edition makeup highlighter had been broken. My pyjamas had been moved to the bottom of my suitcase, which suggested that my suitcase and designer purse had been gone through. My debit card had been moved into my purse, £20 had been left on the side, the lid from my Gucci box had been removed with items placed inside it, and my hairbrush, cup and spoon were missing.
I was also told by one cleaner that she had not cleaned my room, but this was not properly communicated to the other cleaner. When I raised the matter with the manager, I felt my concerns were minimised. I was told to focus on my health and that items are replaceable, despite explaining that the broken item is no longer sold and that my cup and spoon are important to me.
This experience caused me significant distress. I was already dealing with cancer treatment, memory difficulties and emotional strain, and returning to the room to find my belongings moved, damaged or missing left me upset and overwhelmed. It also caused further tension with my partner and turned what should have been a restful stay into a deeply upsetting experience. I was particularly disappointed by the manager’s response, which made me feel that my concerns were not being taken seriously.
Resolution Requested
I ask the hotel to review its housekeeping procedures to ensure that guests’ personal belongings are respected and left untouched unless absolutely necessary. The cleaner did find my £20 and debit card, but these should have simply been left on the side rather than moved with my belongings.
Staff should also be reminded to handle guests’ possessions with greater care and to communicate concerns properly. In my view, it should be common sense not to throw away a designer box or any item that is clearly a guest’s belonging. I would appreciate confirmation that this matter will be reviewed and that appropriate steps will be taken to prevent a recurrence. I do not feel this cleaner in particular should continue to work at this hotel as there may be other things from other guests which have been missing and they may not have realised.
I know the manager will know that it was Me who wrote this review and I’m not even bothered
