  As expected everything in the room was clean and quiet. It was helpful having tea and coffee facilities in the room and a lovely breakfast buffet to wake up to.

  More than a month later and still no aircon. Clearly something deeper is going on, budget cuts do they can’t fix the aircon system? It doesn’t take more than a month to fix aircon in other hotels. Otherwise staff were friendly, room is tidy. Breakfast is decent for what you can expect. Parking on site, no ipad to put my reg on but I wrote it on a piece of paper at reception. Hoping for no ticket! Cannot go higher than 3 as their management is letting them down unfortunately.

  We came to visit Leicester to attend the Men’s Ministry at Central SDA Church on Sabbath and stayed at Holiday Inn Express due to its location. We would like to thank Prea who kindly sorted out our booking promptly. She was helpful and honest about the situation of the only room we could stay in. We made a mistake but she got it right. We appreciate also the people who prepared the food and the cleaners. With your team work we were able to rest and enjoy the hotel.

  Pleasant hotel to stay at which is located next to the King Power Stadium and not too far from the city centre, easily accessible via car or public transport. There are plenty of amenities available along with things to visit and do in the surrounding area too. The hotel offers a free morning breakfast which is great. The only thing negative this time round is the same as was during my stay during the 1st week of June.......the air conditioning system is still out of order!!! Although fans are provided, with the extreme heat we've had recently along with a room window facing the sun as it sets, I would hace much preferred the air conditioning to have been operational by now. My room did get very warm once the evening set in and had it not been for the fan being left on all night, my sleeps over 3 nights would definitely have been uncomfortable. I felt very dehydrated every morning I woke up too which wasn't too nice. I found many other customers venting their frustrations about the same issues I've stated. Overall view, I would stay at this hotel again.......just please ensure the air conditioning system is operational and working.

  Great location, free parking. Great service. Free breakfast and Restaurant and bar open all day. Right next to the Leicester city football stadium.
