Whether you're here for business or pleasure, there's so much on your doorstep. Use the hotel as a base for exploring the Lake District, or drive West to go to Blackpool and see the Illuminations. Beacon Fell and Garstang, the UK's first Fairtrade town are less than a ten minute drive away. Why not take a boat cruise along the canal, and when it's time for a rest, head back for a great night's sleep in our super-comfy beds.

- AKAlex KilkennyOct 2, 20265.0I've stayed in a plethora of premier inns. Both for work or just gernal travel/ events across the UK. This has been a standout so far. Firstly front of house team, Great. I believe his name was DJ. He didn't go out his way or anything. However his greeting was friendly. That's better than most places I've stayed on this type of budget. So thanks DJ. A friendly greeting goes a long way. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and fresh. Usually they are somewhat clean and a bit run down. I cannot fault this premier inn from my experience. Location I gave a 4 star. Only because I can't really comment on this. It was purely a stop over stay on our journey to Scotland. The hotel seemed quite and we had a good night's sleep. Just buy water beforehand. I forgot on this occasion and got stung £3 a bottle for 500ml at the vending machine. Drinking from a bathroom tap in a hotel just doesn't sit right with me.

John who was on the reception when we arrived sorted rooms for us as my uncle is registered blind , false knee & cant manage stairs. He sorted them a ground floor room & organised taxis to take us to the wedding venue & pick us up after us. When I asked if he knew a taxi number nothing was to much trouble.

The room was pleasant enough & comfortable bed But a few bars around the toilet do not make it an accessible room . There was a bath & Not a level access shower so no accessible at all as my wife cannot get in to a bath even if slightly lowered . So this was disappointing and a good job only a one night stay. Kelly the manager & staff Sarah & John were excellent assisting us with early check in & a couple of other things .
