  The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking. There are at least two car parks nearby (Euro and Fishergate) but this makes for expensive parking if you're staying for more than one night. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they went out of their way to help me with whatever I needed. The beds are SO COMFY - I was on the fifth floor and slept really well coz the beds were so comfy - and I don't normally sleep well when I'm not in my own bed. The lift buttons and communal door handles need a bit more cleaning as grubby finger marks can be seen on them. Otherwise the food, the rooms and the service are great and I recommend it - especially if you come on the train coz it's a five minute walk from Preston train station xx

  We stayed 5 nights in this hotel but there cleaning services are very poor they did very bad job they even don't know how to makeup the room First day we went down and told them to makeup our room the man standing near the restaurant said ok sure next all days they will makeup ur room i'll put in the system like why need to put in the system? hotel mean makeup room everyday without telling them every day washroom exhaust fan isn't working ok so the second day when we came back the room was apparently they makes up but it's like how 7 year old make the bed our dirty glass cups are still there the food wrappers still on the side take in the carpet the small mess sticker or some tissues are still there the cleaning staff is so so poor they don't know how to clean ok so the 3rd day we came back it's the same and when i left the room i said to the cleaner who apparently looks like a phillipino man i said we are going plz makeup room he start checking the register and said its not written here i have to clean the room plz you go 1st fooor reception and tell them like what the hell is it the hotel or what 4th day i was getting ready like 11:30 am and the lady came she said makeup room i said yeah sure plz give me 20min and she said oh no i have to go i can't clean by then like seriously even they did not put the pillow cover on pillow i don't know they forget or what ok any how we thought leave it just one day left and we are going 4th day we are coming back around 10:00pm there is guard standing in the G floor which we are seeing him first time when we enter he start shouting hey hey where u are going show me ur room card and much more we are surprised who behave like this and who are you asking us like this in a rude way that's so embarrassing and disturbing and kept asking your room number than we told him he checked in the paper and keep checking checking i get pissed off i just press the lift button and went into lift like there service are really bad specially the cleaning staff and guard outside i'll prefer next time to get BNB instead of hotel i was so pissed off everyday i'll recommend if you are cleaning freak don't stay in this hotel but if you are ok with the services like this plz go ahead

  Why are there only two people working in the restaurant? Booked in my dinner at 7, 30 minutes later no one has even taken my order yet! Wish I didn't get the meal deal and went to McDonald's instead

  I really like this hotel and the staff . Matt is most helpful. I live abroad and have to come back regularly and if I can stay here, I always do . I was lucky enough to be in the new rooms and they are exceptional. Thank-you.

  If you are staying here, regardless of what the staff tell you, do not park behind the hotel. Upon arrival I asked if parking was available, the man on the reception desk told me to “turn right upon leaving here and follow the road down, but don’t go too far as the camera might pick you up” I asked if he was sure, he said yes I’ll be absolutely fine. I then ended up with a parking ticket for £60. Upon Guest Relations request, I appealed this charge on the promise that they would then refund me if this didn’t get accepted. I have now been told (when it’s already been refused and up to £100) that they won’t be refunding and never stated this. I am raising this further with their manager as miraculously, the initial phone call made stating this has disappeared from the log book. The staff are uninformed and have no clue what they’re doing. The reception is barely manned, the food is canteen school food, and the rooms are dirty. All in all this stay was absolutely dreadful with or without the parking ticket, and I’m down £100 on a company booking. Absolutely pathetic service from Premier Inn and I will be warning everyone i know never to stay here. I now understand why people dislike this company so much.
