  Simon checked me in and was an absolute delight. He was so helpful advising me about parking and arranging the shuttle bus for my morning journey to the airport. He also served me at the bar where we took advantage of the fantastic 2 for £10 drinks offer. It seemed to be a busy place when we were here but the team were handling it with ease. Will definitely return

  The rooms are what you would expect. What prompted me to write this review was the restaurant manager David! He was absolutely on it, he was constantly checking what food was empty & refilling asking me if everything was ok even got my more pancakes when I asked him with no hassle. You should definitely appreciate David’s hard work and dedication to his role.

  Rating as 4* because the rooms, as always with Premier Inn, are very good. It does have some issues though. Dinner was just ok - nice chips but the steak came well-done, after they'd asked and I'd opted for medium-rare. I don't expect anything amazing in an airport budget hotel, but it's the most expensive dish on the menu. Self-service collection of cutlery and sauces also does not really match the price point - that's fine for fast food or a greasy spoon, but when spending £25 on a meal, bringing a knife and fork out isn't a lot to ask. The restaurant was very quiet at the time. There was also a noise issue. It's not really the hotel's fault but there were kids running loudly up and down the corridor for several hours. As I had a 5am flight, this was sub-optimal.

  Really disappointing experience at this Premier Inn. We specifically booked and confirmed a travel cot ahead of arrival, and even phoned before check-in to make sure it would be in the room. When we arrived, there was no cot — which led to an overtired toddler becoming completely hysterical at bedtime. We went to reception and were told one would be brought up immediately. After waiting 15 minutes with no sign of it, I had to go back downstairs and make it clear I wasn’t leaving the desk until someone actually resolved the issue. What made it more frustrating was seeing a staff member, Sam, sitting in the back on his personal phone watching a livestream with headphones in while we were still waiting for help. Mistakes happen, but the lack of urgency and customer care — especially for a family travelling with a young child — was incredibly poor. Premier Inn seriously needs to sort this out.

  I recently stayed at Premier Inn Manchester Airport (M56/J6) Runger Lane South hotel before an early morning flight, and overall I was really pleased with the experience. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes from Manchester Airport, which made travelling far less stressful. It was very easy to find, and despite being close to the airport, the rooms were surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Check-in was quick and simple, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The room itself was clean, modern, and had everything needed for a short overnight stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, which is something Premier Inn is usually known for, and I managed to get a really good night’s sleep before travelling. Free Wi-Fi was included, and the room also had tea and coffee facilities, a TV, and a good shower. The restaurant and bar area were convenient, especially after a long journey. Breakfast had plenty of choice and was good value for money. Many guests online also praise the hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and excellent location for airport travel. � Holiday Extras +2 There are a couple of small downsides worth mentioning. Parking charges can feel a little expensive, and during busy periods the restaurant service can be slower than expected. Some reviews have also mentioned parts of the hotel looking slightly dated in places. � However, for the price and convenience, I still think it offers very good value overall. Premier Inn +1 If you need a reliable, comfortable, and affordable hotel close to Manchester Airport, I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s ideal for families, couples, or business travellers looking for a stress-free airport stopover.
