  Well located premier inn, great nights sleep with comfie mattress and lovely sheets. Breakfast is available and was worth the money for the English

  Simple instruction on two occasions… please can I add my IHG number to the booking” was failed when requested at check in… & check out… and then the check out staff by taking it further to a manager. Really poor admin.

  Room was spacious. Side table needed wiping (dried spillage and 3 cup rings). A couple of hairs in the bath, too. Tea/coffee/milk hadn't been filled up, on the one night I stayed. Bedding was clean. Bathroom updated from last time I visited with work a couple of years ago and now much nicer. But the shower screen cleaning techniques need to be addressed, as pinkish mould appearin at the bottom. Overall happy with a bed for the night, just a few niggles that would prompt me to leave an extra star or two.

  Beds and pillows comfortable and clean The net curtains were broken and looked a bit grubby, also chair was stained. Tea and coffee selection pretty good quality, nice touch with biscuits Bathroom clean and fairly modern, shower over the bath. Our toilet was temperamental, with water running continuously after flushing, had to fiddle with it to get it to stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is easy access from the motorway and parking is free. It is not close to Lancaster centre as suggested, it is a 30-40 minute walk. As a result we ate in the restaurant as no local eateries available, it is expensive, but the food actually tasted pretty good.

  Stopped off for a short break at the hotel. Did not realise that we had to register our car in the carpark. Did not notice any parking notices. (this may have been our own fault, however after a long drive it was not something I thought I would need to do in a hotel carpark). No member of staff either bought this to our attention during our 35 minute stayover. A week later I have been hit with £100 parking fine from the carpark company (Parking Eye) which are separate to the hotel. Upon asking the hotel for assistance to have this fine waived, I received second this email response: (the first reply just asked me for proof of the parking fine which I duly provided) Good morning, Thank you for your email. May I ask for proof of payment that you had a tea/coffee. If this cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel without proof as you need to be either a resident, gym member or here for an interview or meeting with proof provided that you came on them bases. Otherwise, you will have to take this matter upon parking eye themselves as we have many signs to display that vehicle registrations need to be put in the system at reception and signs stating we have a car park run by parking eye. I apologies if this is not the outcome you were looking for but without any proof of purchasing anything here, we will not be able to help in this matter. If you require any further assistance please do not hesitate in contacting us back. Kind regards, Iqra Saddique ... So it may have cost me £100 but now the Hotel has a 1 star Google review and the loss of a potential client/s, who will undoubtedly poor scorn on Holiday Inn forever and a day. Rant over, and now off to a decent hotel in the Dales for a long weekend break.
