  The staff at this hotel are all so friendly! The hotel is in a great location, rooms are clean and comfortable.

  I arrived after 3pm but my room wasn’t ready, I was given a disabled room which was no problem but their seemed to be a foam topper or something to raise the mattress and I didn’t sleep well, only realised the morning after. Not sure why as it had gone 3pm my room wasn’t ready?

  Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. The staff were friendly and welcoming when you could find them, and the food was decent, which were the main positives. The room itself felt quite outdated. The carpet looked dirty enough that I didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot, there was no hairdryer in the room, and the TV was very slow and lagged when changing channels. The biggest issue was the noise. Parking costs £16 per night, yet getting a good night’s sleep was almost impossible. The hotel is next to a railway/tram line, and throughout the evening and night there was constant noise from trains, people shouting outside, cars screeching, loud bangs and general disturbance. Keeping the window open wasn’t an option because of how noisy it was. I ended up checking out a day early because I simply wasn’t enjoying my stay. Overall, I expected much better for the price and won’t be returning.

  We stayed here for one night as invited to a wedding locally. Very friendly & welcoming staff. Clean and well thought out rooms. Very comfy bed, quiet and close to the town centre.

  Convenient location for getting to the hotel from Manchester or onward travel. However, whilst a Convenient location it is, also very noisy if like me you happen to get a room next to the tram line its incredibly noticeable when it passes and it does so practically all night. Aswell as that alot of noise came from the corridors through the night. After having to be moved rooms due to the locks not working on the first one, which in fareness they did do for me without too much fuss although I did feel I was made to feel a bit silly for it. The room was mostly clean but in a bit of disrepair with a broken tv and generally was just a bit worn. Finally i was given no info about breakfast options so i just ate out instead. Overall, alright but i wouldn't stay here again.
