  Don't stay here if you want food or a clean room. Food only available if you pre-pay for a meal deal. Bathrooms in need of update as there is mould and determination. Rooms need deep cleaning as there's layers of dust in the corners.

  I had a really pleasant stay at Premier Inn Hull City Centre. The location is excellent, right by the River Humber and within easy walking distance of the city centre and attractions like The Deep. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the bed was really good for a decent night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and straightforward. I also enjoyed breakfast, with plenty of choice and everything being fresh. The on-site parking was convenient, although it is worth remembering that there is a charge. Overall, I found the hotel comfortable, well located and good value for a city break. I’d happily stay here again when visiting Hull.

  This is one of the Premier Inns that has not yet been renovated. The bar/restaurant has a great view of the estuary. Staff were friendly and food was good. Parking is £7 per night for hotel guests. Only a 10 minute walk to Hull's historic centre. Typically for Premier Inn WiFi isn't very fast. I could send work emails but couldn't even download a simple podcast.

  I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the standard of accommodation and service I received during my stay. The room I was initially allocated was a disabled-access room, which was subsequently changed to a family room. Unfortunately, the condition of the room and bathroom was well below the standard I have experienced at other Premier Inn hotels over the years. The overall cleanliness and condition of the facilities were particularly disappointing and did not reflect the level of service I would reasonably expect from Premier Inn. Furthermore, the glass provided to me during breakfast had not been properly cleaned. This is unacceptable, particularly in a hotel where cleanliness and hygiene should be a basic priority. I believe the issues I experienced warrant a proper investigation, and I would appreciate an explanation as to how the room and breakfast service were allowed to fall below the expected standards. I would also like you to consider appropriate compensation or a goodwill gesture in recognition of the inconvenience and disappointment caused.

  I always found Premier better than the Travelodge. However, on my last visit to Hull I encountered a problem that’s well worth noting. After our morning showers, we left for the day and hung the label on the door handle for housekeeping to freshen up our room, clean towels, tea, coffee and milk top up etc. On our return in the evening we found nothing had been touched. Thinking that this was a simple oversight, I called off at reception to enquire and was told that the proper procedure is to inform reception if you want housekeeping to call and the door label alone is not enough. I said I thought that this was a poor idea and the person on reception now became abrupt and said it was my fault if I didn’t read the signs displayed around the building, it was company policy and nothing to do with them. Maybe I should have noticed the signs, I accept that but maybe customers should be told at check in about this policy. Finally, zero points for customer service to the black girl who served me at reception. More training needed.
