  After driving all evening we stopped in at just gone 11pm for a night’s rest (we weren’t sure how far we’d make it through our drive so I hadn’t pre-booked) - I was told there were five rooms available, then the man on reception told me he had to ask his manager something. I found him a little rude but assumed there was a language barrier - he appeared to struggle to understand when I asked if there was a room with two beds. He disappeared for a good while then came back and told me he couldn’t check me in because it was after 11pm. We’ve stayed at Premier Inns in the past and have always arrived later on (it’s part of the reason Premier Inns is my go-to). At this point I was too tired to question it and wasn’t going to waste any more time, so we drove over to the Allerton branch. Not ideal having to try and track down a hotel at that time of night exhausted with a child in tow. Thankfully Allerton had a room available and the man on reception there was so welcoming and even apologetic for my experience at the West Malling branch.

  I stayed down here while working and i must say this one was great vicki and niall were absolutely brilliant nothing was too much they made me feel very welcome they really made my stay there special and the chef there was called keith he really made the food taste great best ive had in all my stays in premier inns im looking forward to staying there again

  Really good stay so far at the Premier Inn Maidstone (West Malling). The hotel is just off the motorway making tomorrow an easier drive and is your typical Premier Inn fayre. We got the meal and breakfast fast deal (which includes the kids main off the menu for free and the kids breakfast free). The meal tonight was great - big portions, fresh cooked, drinks and puddings hit the spot. Shout out to Lauren, Alex, Danielle and Louie (chef) who looked after us all night and were constantly getting food and drinks out to the other guests.

  This hotel has no AC in the rooms, no fridge and no safe. We stayed for a few nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. They do provide a fan which is nice, but once you move away from the fan, you're sweating again. I'd regularly get a pitcher with ice and water, but 5 mins in the room, the ice has completely melted. The rooms had a strange funk to them. I cannot fault the staff, they can only with what they have. They were nice and smiley. Free parking provided, just remember to validate it. They have got building work going on, and they are building Premier Inn Plus rooms with AC, fridge etc, so this review may change in the future. But as it stands, this hotel is perfect in the Winter months.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot praise Wendy and the entire team at the Premier Inn Maidstone (West Malling) highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome, comfortable and looked after. Wendy was absolutely exceptional. She went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Her kindness, warmth and genuine compassion really stood out to me, and she is an absolute credit to Premier Inn. What made Wendy's efforts even more remarkable was knowing that she was dealing with her own personal challenges, yet she continued to show such incredible strength, kindness and dedication to the guests around her. The way she continued to go the extra mile was genuinely inspiring. I would also like to thank the entire team. Every member of staff I encountered was welcoming, polite and hardworking, and it was clear that they genuinely care about the guests and the service they provide. A special mention must also go to the chef, whose food was absolutely fantastic. Everything was delicious, well-prepared and clearly made with care. The food was a real highlight of my stay. Overall, I had a genuinely wonderful experience at the Maidstone (West Malling) Premier Inn. Wendy and the whole team made me feel welcome and valued, and that is something I will genuinely remember. Wendy, in particular, deserves the highest praise. Thank you for everything you did and for going so far above and beyond. You are a truly special person and a real credit to Premier Inn. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel and will definitely be returning. Thank you all for making my stay such a positive and memorable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
