- CHCatherine HenburyOct 3, 20265.0First time here, very friendly and helpful staff in great area close proximity to amenities. Can get a taxi or bus which I got from Strood Station which stops directly outside, so handy. I booked Premier Plus room it was superb with extra facilities!! Refrigerator with complimentary bottled water and treats, large enough to also hold a bottle of wine,coffee pod machine , fan, hairdryer, separate tall lamp, table, wifi super comfy king bed, air con, iron/board. Great raindrop shower with fab toiletries and loved can have addition of the premier inn lighting! Lovely views of the river from upper floors.Usual buffet breakfast ,ran out of items at times so you had to wait. If you want a poached egg you have to ask and they will make for you. Usual bar prices with a tv area but so friendly had a few laughs with the staff. Just a few mins walk you have the Retail park with cinema, bowling, arcade machines and many other shops.There's a McDonalds opposite and just down the road a pub with pool table, which I heard is really nice and will visit when I stay here again. If you go on google maps it will show as theres some other places there. So all in all a great area to stay, right by the riverside and spoilt for choice. Definately recommend!!
