  Great price close to the motorway and walking distance to The Moat pub which was amazing.

  Unfortunately in our circumstance we were let down, but overall as always they provide what it says on the tin. We called ahead 2 months in advance, reserved 2 adjoining rooms with an internal door, for our needs. We called ahead a week in advance to double check all our details and needs still appropriate. Upon arriving we get told they've sold one of our rooms and no others available! Really friendly staff, at the hotel, not their fault, central office taking bookings making promises but not following through with basic courtesy with the hotel itself. Hotel is a bit shabby on the outside but the inside is much nicer, rooms are what you expect at every PI.

  Laura is Amazing!! Our original booking was at another hotel further up the road. Unfortunately, due to a power outage, they had to cancel our reservation and directed us to this hotel instead. When we arrived, Laura explained that the other hotel had not actually made a reservation on our behalf. On top of that, the hotel was incredibly busy with an influx of guests from the same property, and no rooms were immediately available. Despite working on her own under immense pressure, Laura remained calm, professional, and genuinely determined to help. She told us, "Give me 20 minutes, and I'll make this happen" and she absolutely did. Within 20 minutes, she had arranged a fantastic room for us and turned what could have been a very stressful situation into a great experience. Laura's customer service was outstanding. She went above and beyond, remained friendly and reassuring throughout, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. She is a real credit to the hotel, and because of the exceptional service she provided, we would happily book this hotel again. Thank you, Laura, for making a difficult situation so easy and for delivering such outstanding hospitality.
