  Had a great stay at Herne Bay Premier Inn. Used a base to explore the area, the staff were very friendly and helpful. My Mom needed an accessible room and this was perfect for her needs. Free parking and a clean safe area. Hotel was very clean and looked newly renovated. Perfect for what we needed

  This is a review of the staff and food because we haven't stayed in the hotel but we are local and have been to breakfast as walk-in customers on quite a few occasions. We have experienced the cooking skills of 3 of the chefs and all have provided us with excellent meals, especially myself (who prefers poached eggs). All the rest of the staff we have met seemed fairly young and are all very friendly and helpful. The Manager, Nikki, whom we met some time at ago at another branch before her transfer to Herne Bay, is always pleased and welcoming when she sees us. We are a family of 3 generations and will not hesitate to come again.

  I have been visiting this hotel on a regular basis for about 18 months being disabled i do require help on occasions like being given table service at the buffet breakfast fetching my luggage from the taxi taking my luggage to my room, helping when they see me struggling with a door .I cannot speak highly enough of Nikki and her team. The rooms are always well presented and clean.The food is great and the service is very good. I would again like to thank Nikki and her wonderful team for making every stay as easy and comfortable as possible.

  Our stay was a game of 2 halves. For 4 nights in a plus room we had no complaints. The room was clean, comfy & very cool. We booked an extra night and only a standard room was available. The air con felt like a wheezy hamster so we bought 2 fans to make it through the very hot night. Also a strip was hanging off the bathroom door which made closing it really noisy. Now for the staff, all the ladies we encountered were great. The mousey haired bloke who was on duty on Sunday evening was efficient but surly. Not one single smile and barely made eye contact. He looked like he was beyond fed up of working there. He was the same on Tuesday morning at breakfast, good job the lady chef and helper (Tiff i think) were friendlier. On the whole, we'd stay again in a plus room or check air con and room earlier as when we got back at 9.45 at night we were told we couldn't be moved.
