Here's a novel place to stay: Premier Inn Hotel Gillingham Business Park puts you at the heart of Charles Dickens country. You're within easy reach of London, Folkestone and Dover too, not to mention the Kent County Showground. However great your expectations, we won't let you down. Seek out some old (or new) curiosity shops in Bluewater, or see what life was like back in hard times, at Chatham Dockyard. Enjoy a Dickensian weekend in Rochester, and when evening strikes its little knell, return to the hotel for tasty food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant next door and our new, modern rooms with extra-comfy kingsize beds.

WARNING: BED BUGS. Avoid at all costs. I got bed bugs. I stayed at the hotel for one night and I regret doing so. I had itchy bed bug bites all over my body for a week. This speaks to how unhygienic the hotel is. Furthermore the hotel has no AC, which underscores the outdated state of the hotel. The hotel provided a fan, but it was ineffective and I was not able to sleep. If you're looking for a good night's sleep, don't stay here. I contacted the hotel but unfortunately they did not respond.

Beds are comfy, as you expect from a Premier Inn.
Adjoining pub isn't great. Food quality is pretty poor.
Not much to do nearby, so a car is very useful to travel elsewhere if staying more than a night.
