  It's a transit camp, of sorts, which is no surprise given its location just minutes from the Folkestone Eurotunnel complex. However, it doesn't lack anything, our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast: not at all bad, generally of a good standard for a budget hotel. Stone cold pastries the only issue; rubbery croissant anyone?

  Really disappointed with the hotel, was due to stay last night but my son was taken into hospital, it was booked through algotels and they contacted them on my behalf to see if we could change the dates, they refused. I understand the policy states no refunds but I wasnt asking for one, I was asking for compassion due to our medical situation.

  “I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and I would especially like to recognize Cameron at the front desk. Cameron was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to answering my questions, they made me feel welcome and valued as a guest.   Exactly what you expect, spotlessly clean, comfortable with a nice breakfast. Staff frienfly and professional. Only negative thing is parking cost £6 and may as well be added to room rate as i cant see anyone using the hotel without a car

  Cownboy outfit - avoid. I selected a date and booked it. The website did not give a confirmation nor send an email, which seemed strange. Luckily I enrolled to their loyalty programme, and when I logged in I saw it had booked the room to some random date months after when I wanted. First call dropped out when I was transferred to "a manager", second call I could change the date, but for a 50+% increase in price and a smaller bed - and I'd been trying to contact them to correct their error from about 1 minute after booking. Complete rip off ,will never use them again. Unfortunately distance selling regulations do not cover hotel bookings, otherwise I definitely would have done a credit card chargeback.
