Have stayed at this premier inn a few times since it opened, we like the prem plus rooms. Good parking. Really nice friendly staff. Our real noticeble let down is lack of staff, 1 chef covering meal times, reception covering as waiters, and bar staff, leading to extensive long waits at evening meal times. Will always use this prem inn when doing outings north kent. More staff please

Booked a premier plus room , wouldn't pay extra next time as coffee machine broke and kept tripping electric in our room told there was no replacement so had to take it Away, another was sent to our room later in the day be aware no decaff coffee pods are available for machine so I myself couldn't use it my partner did so the extra part you pay for was of no use, lots of banging of doors on the Friday night up until 3:25am but the food was absolutely shocking I had fish and chips my husband had burger and chips took 30 minutes to arrive and only 3 other people in the restaurant when it did arrive chips were cold so sent it back second time it arrived chips hot but now fish luke warm as it had clearly been sat waiting and I have to say its the worst meal I have ever had fish was served skin side up when asked about this the manager said it depends on how the fish curls when it's cooked very odd, battered was soggy and fish was a very strange colour had a pink tinge to it I didn't eat any of it I asked what fish it was and was told haddock it certainly wasn't I refused to pay for my meal as I didn't eat it my husbands meal was very average the same chips cold not worth the price good job the was an Aldi across the road as I got myself a sandwich cancelled breakfast as was not going to even try it after dinner experience.

The rooms are still up to standard but now they are closing Beefeater and Brewers Fayre the quality of the food has gone downhill. I won't be using Premier inn if they have there new in-house cooking facilities on site.

The one time tried to pop in for a walk in breakfast. One person. Apparently too busy to add one more person to the self service system of help yourself to food and drink that is topped up. Wouldn't want to overwhelm a self service system would we 😂
