  Rooms were okay for the price. We did have a horrific smell in our bathroom which I can only assume was the drains. We didn't complain to reception as we checked in really late and were exhausted from our travel and it wasn't worth the effort. Breakfast was good. Staff were generally pleasant and helpful in our own experience. However, we did witness several interactions with other guests that felt unnecessarily rude or dismissive compared to how we were treated. The inconsistency was concerning to us and left us with an uncomfortable impression overall. Carparking is offered at a reduced rate of £6 for hotel guests.

  With the dartford tunnel crossing so close not easy to get in to hotel maybe build a back road in to assist visitors

  Let’s start with the positives. I was greeted at reception and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check in went smoothly and after some confusion over parking (it was paid for by my employer as part of the room cost but they could only do a discount but they did finally sort it). On getting to my room it was clean and tidy however when I tried to turn the air conditioning on it did not work. Not a deal breaker in normal weather but it was massively humid and the minimum overnight temperature was due to be 18c. The room was hot and stuffy. I returned to reception and told the staff member who said “oh about 90% of the rooms ac doesn’t work.” We cannot guarantee a room with working one. The second room they gave me it worked for a short period before having to turn it off and back on. It seems as though it is a long standing issue. Surely something like this should be put on the website? Or at least notified when booking? The evening food. The menus on the app and in the lift is not the menu the hotel is using. They also do not have physical menus instead relying on you using your phone to scan a QR code to see the menu. However the katsu curry was fantastic and I would recommend it. Overall the staff are nice, the rooms are nice and the food is very good. However the air conditioning issue is a big issue. For a modern hotel to not have air conditioning is frankly not acceptable especially when not told. It dragged a 5 star review down to the 2 stars.

  Great Hotel the staff are friendly the breakfast is good but the sausage needs to be better and you should have fried egg and poached egg for a choice but enjoyed my stay

  It was a lovely hotel We were greeted by Karen. She was very helpful and booked us in all the stuff there including Karen were very very helpful. We will definitely be staying again when when we are next in Dartford. PS, please tell Karen thank you for everything that she and everyone else has done for us
