Stayed here after watching madness at the cricket ground , lovely clean quiet room considering your on a main road, air conditioned but no opening windows , staff we're lovely enough to get us a fan ( I'm a woman of a certain age 😀)Buffet Breakfast was hot and freshly topped up very often ao it disnt ait ans sey out with an amazing range including fresh grilled tomatoes mushrooms , black pudding and fried or scrambled eggs plus the usual sausage. bacon ,haahbrowns and beans ..cereals ,yoghurts and toast
Absolutely nothing premier about it, had to suffer from a backache because of the bed mattress, bed was not comfortable at all. No phone, closet or mini fridge in the room which is obviously inconvenient. Housekeeping is only in the morning, no afternoon shifts which is annoying because if you miss it your stuck with a messy room. No complementary water or even a tissue box in the room. The only good thing about it is the AC, it works. Staff wer friendly from check in especially Denise however its difficult finding a staff member at reception as they are always running around doing other things at the same time. If you are planning to stay more than 2 nights I would suggest looking for a different hotel in the area. Free wifi was very weak, if you want the stronger option youd have to pay which is ridiculous with us being in 2026.

Our stay at Premier Inn was average overall. One thing that was disappointing was the lack of flexibility for early check-in, which comes with an additional charge. We were also surprised that Wi-Fi was not fully complimentary, as free Wi-Fi is a standard offering in most hotels nowadays.
On the positive side, the breakfast was very good, with a decent selection and good quality food.
However, it was quite surprising that complimentary drinking water bottles were not provided in the room. This is the first time we have experienced this during a hotel stay. Small amenities like free water can make a significant difference to the overall guest experience.
While the hotel was comfortable, these missing conveniences made the stay less satisfying

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly BUT I ate at the hotel on my first night and I was very disappointed. I ordered the ceaser salad with a chicken and it was not great. I travel a lot and have ordered this in other premier inns and it is usually great but this one was not. I got one small gem lettuce cut into four and still on the stalk. One beef tomato cut into 5. One sweet corn cut into four or five and some croutons and cheese. Once I cut up my tomato and took the lettuce off of the stalk I had hardly any salad. After asking the kitchen for extra lettuce I was told the chef said no unless I paid for it. I work in customer service and this was terrible! Not only was it a very snall portion but i had to finish preparing it myself. I usually eat at the premier inn both nights (due to working hours where ever I am) but I won't get my evening meal here tomorrow. For the sake of extra lettuce (maybe a £1?), they lost a full meal tomorrow night.
