- CWCharles WrightJun 4, 20263.0Despite booking in with our car registration number for parking, someone transposed this with one incorrect letter. This resulted in a parking charge of £60. I spent 15 minutes on the phone to Customer Services who were useless, kept repeating I should phone up the parking company (Horizon), despite me telling them the number was just an automated payment line. I eventually had to appeal in writing to Horizon and wait weeks for the charge to be cancelled. This was a mistake by Premier Inn staff that should have been dealt with by them, but I had to sort out.

The staff were all lovely, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, but it felt quite dated and had a damp smell. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working, which made the room uncomfortable. The shower was also extremely hot, even when set to the coldest temperature. Overall, the hotel's biggest strengths are its convenient location for travellers heading to the Eurotunnel and its excellent staff, but the rooms could benefit from some updating and maintenance.
