Rooms are fine, clean and tidy. Unfortunately no air conditioning or even the great quality fans some of the other inns have these days- just big, noisy floor fans which can't really be left on all night. Good service and friendly staff. Nice location on the waterfront and near to the main A road for easy access east to the motorway and west down the coast.

Like most Premier Inn's these days, needs a lick of paint and a bit of a revamp, great location. I wish I paid the little bit extra for the better view over the river and across to the mountains. Would use again.

Well this Premier inn is the most dirty and run down hotel of theirs I've stayed in to date, and I've literally stayed in hundreds over the years. The building is very run down, rotten wood, paint peeling off and the most dirty carpets i think I've ever seen in a hotel! If the stay was cheap you could forgive a bit, but £148 a night for a run down shack of a building. Staff are demoralised as the owners (whitbred group), are closing all the attached pubs, but putting the breakfast price up to eat in house! They obviously do not care about the 3500 staff they are laying off or the guests getting a 2nd rate service at high prices (for a so called budget hotel).
Time to move my years of business to independent hotel instead through much easier app's with better rewards.
Goodbye Premier inn!
