  A really good experience which delivered everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We wanted a base from which to explore but enjoy coming back to. Close proximity to Colwell bay beach is a big plus. No problems, great service , easy check-in and friendly staff.

  Had a brilliant stay at The Bay Colwell. Helpful staff, efficient check in and perfectly clean chalet. Pool was clean and well equipped, and the beach was just a few minutes walk away. 10/15 min walk to Freshwater high street which had lovely cafes, shops, takeaways and a sainsburys. Kitchen was well appointed so was easy to walk to the shops and buy something to cook onsite. Parking was a bit tight but manageable. I left something in my accomodation after leaving the island and when I called the staff they were really kind and helpful in getting it back to me :) Would absolutely stay here again!

  Well laid out site with around 30 bungalows. Bungalow in side well equipped, tidy and in very good condition. Public access road a bit bumpy. Staff very polite and helpful. Situated away from the larger towns but still has Tescos and Sainsbury's and close to quiet beaches. 40 minutes to get to East Coast. Recommended.

  Quiet, chill, and relaxing experience. Exclusive beach lodges are conveniently located to adjacent facilities (pool, welcome lounge ft. Costa coffee, indoor soft play) Resort is an excellent choice for proximity to Colwell Bay (via private beach access, it's a 5-7 minute walk down to the beach). The lodge itself is a bit tired and sparsely furnished but has everything you'd need for 2-3 days of self-catering. Could benefit from more thorough cleaning. Also: bring your own shampoo and conditioner. And we enjoy bringing extra loo roll, kitchen roll, bathroom/kitchen wipes, and dishwasher tablets/washing liquid to keep the place "spruced up" during the stay. Dog-friendly: our dog even received a thoughful welcome package (though we had to ask for it). One caution: no WiFi, so be prepared to disconnect from technology or use your mobile data (if you're desperate and/or addicted, go to the welcome lounge as they do have WiFi).
