- ZXZeon Xavier4 days ago3.0So I stayed at Premier inn last night and actually had a good stay, but wasn't brilliant. There was several errors occurring with the reception team. So checking in, I was placed in a room at 6pm which wasn't ready. It was too hot outside to be messing around checking in and after discovering the room wasn't ready I got an apology but didnt get a complimentary upgrade or anything seeing as though rooms are ready from as early as 3pm. Then later in the night enquired about how breakfast works and discovered I hadn't been booked in for breakfast on a time, the system wouldn't co operate and then went down altogether. Resorted back to writing on paper.. Now the room was nice, cool and perfect with being clean and presentable. I did however find the shower to be slightly worn and a struggle to operate as the faucet handles kept slipping and pressure wasn't operating properly. The decor was in line with traditional premier inn, but im confused why the hotel features Brighton pier, Blackpool tower and nothing to highlight sandown or the island. Brighton pier is about 45 miles east and Blackpool tower is around 300 to 350 miles north west of the hotel. Maybe as a recommendation it would help to highlight the area the hotel is based in and celebrate the island life, rather than mainland? Parking wise is on street and night tariff from 6pm to 10 am is £2. Overall it was a nice stay, but could do better with topics raised here...

- MLMary LathamJun 14, 20265.0This is long overdue!! I stayed here when I went over to the Island to attempt the Flat Walk of Walk the Wight. I would have liked a sea view room, but was very happy with what I got. The staff were amazing - Leanne, Dawn and Imogen all went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed including a place for a quiet dinner, which turned out to be amazing!! A good breakfast was provided by Sandown Pub & Kitchen. All in all it was a good weekend being able to visit family and to be able to enjoy the sea front. I will return!!
