Perfect for a one night stay. Staff were welcoming, room was clean, WiFi was fast and bed was comfortable. Everything you need.

Rooms were clean and satisfactory, free wifi, good location near to the town Centre, breakfast was good, however the dinner service could do with a bit more work, seemed overlay portion controlled

No air con, fan as a substitute but the back of this was full of dust.
Bathroom smelled and not to a clean standard.
Room was next to river and sand/stone yard decided to load a barge at 1 in the morning.
The parking is a nightmare, its very unclear. There is parking before the hotel sign so everyone crowds in and there was a patrol giving everyone tickets at 8am. The breakfast was OK always a little dry or overheld. The room was ok. No opening windows and no air conditioning it wasnt fun. It was all ok for a night but as a holiday base it would be worth going elsewhere

This was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve ever had!
Our room was unbearably hot. Even with two fans running all night, the room remained so warm that it was almost impossible to sleep. Meanwhile, our friends staying in rooms on a different side of the hotel had much cooler rooms, so we knew this wasn’t just because of the weather.
We politely asked reception if we could move to another room. We were told that housekeeping had gone home, and if we moved, our current room wouldn’t be cleaned and therefore couldn’t be sold that night. That was apparently more important than the comfort of guests who had already paid to stay there.
The most disappointing part was that there were clearly empty rooms available, yet no effort was made to help us. We weren’t asking for an upgrade or anything special—we simply wanted a room where we could sleep. Instead, we were told there was “nothing they could do,” despite the only solution they offered being yet another fan, even though we already had two.
I understand hotels have procedures, but good customer service is about solving problems when guests are genuinely uncomfortable. We paid for a comfortable night’s stay, not to spend the night sweating in an unbearably hot room while being told the hotel’s inability to resell our room mattered more than our experience.
I left feeling completely ignored and extremely disappointed. I would not stay here again, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it if customer comfort is not a priority.
