But the location isn't great - it's fairly handy for the station, but a little tricky to find and it's about 20 mins walk to the Old Town where all the good pubs and food places are. Surrounding Stevenage new town is very dull and grey.

The pillows were also subpar, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The TV's internet wasn't working, so we couldn't use the smart TV. You also have to be careful the door actually closes as it often catches on the chain. However, the room itself was clean and spacious enough for two people, complete with good bathroom amenities. Breakfast was adequate, with a reasonably good selection. The restaurant itself offered delicious food. However, parking on site was limited and pricey at £12 per night. A more affordable alternative is to park just across the road for £7 per exit. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again due to the uncomfortable bed.
