- MBMartina BötelAug 11, 20264.0Waren eine Reisegruppe mit einem Busunternehmen aus Deutschland. 3 Nächte, Zimmer 607, mit Blick nach Norden. Mit dem Zimmer total zufrieden, gutes Bett, gute nicht hörbare Klimaanlage. Leider TV nichts deutschsprachiges. Fenster kann man nur 10cm nach außen kippen, aber nicht nötig, da Verkehrslärm. Frühstück ok, Brot leider englisch !! , Wurst und Käse übersichtlich. Leider zu wenige Tassen aus Porzellan, alternative ToGo Becher, ein NO GO - wegen Umwelt. Föhn im Schrank, wurde noch nie gesäubert, Luftansaugfilter total mit Staub voll, habe mich gewundert das der, Föhn überhaupt noch trocknet. Siehe Foto. Umgebung nicht schön, aber nach kurzen Weg, beim Bahnhof, Aldi und Tesco. Mit Expressdirektlinie in 30 Minuten am Tower. Tageskarte um 20 Pfund.

You can clearly see the place has been recently renovated because room 123 was not only big, but also spotless! The beds were nice and we settled our suitcases near the door. The room even has a kettle to make coffee or tea, extra pillows, a hair dryer, and ironing supplies. The bathroom was clean and the shower great. And as for the beds, i honestly haven't slept this well in any other hotel. Now, we didn't have the dinner option in our travel, but we did have breakfast, full english too. It was all fresh and warm and tasted great. So yeah, Holiday Inn in Stevenage, a great stay just about an hour from London.

- BBBartJul 7, 20264.0First time stay at this hotel. It was a very brief overnight stay. I arrived late and left early so didn't use any of the hotel facilities. Therefore my review is solely centred on my check in/out and room standard. Firstly, I am familiar with the area so I was able to park freely in a local side street less than 5 minute walk to/from the holtel. Check in was easy. Staff I encountered (albeit briefly) were friendly. The room (4th floor) was spacious and had excellent facilities including a secure safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee ect ect. Tne bathroom was very well maintained and clean. The room was equipped again with all the usual amenities and handy USB charging ports at the bedside. The bed was comfortable (subjective I know) and the bedding was fresh and clean. My only less positive was the 'stuffiness' of the room with limited window opening for fresh air. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay and I would happily return.
