- KTKylie ToftJun 3, 20264.0Okay, so let's get the negatives out of the way, this hotel has no air-con so when it's hot, it's HOT! However, the staff couldn't do more to help. They gave us 2 fans and said we could ask for ice water at any time. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Overall the hotel was clean and pleasant and we always managed to find a parking space. I can't comment on the food as we didn't use the restaurant but it's a very short drive to Berkhamsted where there are shops and restaurants. The staff definitely deserve a mention as we received a warm welcome and everyone we encountered was really friendly (and I am a northerner! Ha ha.) We have family in Berkhamsted and will definitely stay here again when visiting them.
