  Superbe nuit passé dans cette hotel avec chambres communiquantes pour familles. Hotel propre et calme. Déjeuner buffet copieux et variés. Très pratique pour faire le Warner Bross Studio Tour Harry Potter ou rejoindre l'aéroport de Heathrow.

  En oplevelse ud over det sædvanlige. Et super dejligt hotel, I skønne omgivelser. Og et personale der får selv den mest hjælpeløse gæst, sikkert til London, og tilbage igen. Vel og mærke den første tur til storbyen. En kæmpe stor tak skal lyde til Chris og den søde kvinde i receptionen, som jeg har glemt navnet på, for den uvurderlige hjælp, og for at gøre min fødselsdag i London helt speciel. Kærlige hilsner, de 2 danske turister

  The Holiday Inn Express in Hemel Hempstead works fine as a basic, practical base for a trip, though the building itself is clearly showing its age and is definitely due for a complete renovation. * The Pluses: What really saves the experience is the fantastic, 5-star staff who are warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout your stay. The location is immensely convenient, sitting right near Apsley train station for an effortless commute straight into London via the train and underground, while also being surrounded by useful shops, supermarkets, and nearby restaurants. Free parking on-site , and the breakfast offers a decent, simple spread to get your day started, just keep your expectations realistic. * The Minuses: The hotel feels old and noticeably, bringing along a few comfort issues that are hard to ignore. The rooms suffer from poor soundproofing, making them quite noisy, and the overall cleanliness fell below the standard you would expect. The air conditioning wasn't functioning properly, which made the room far less comfortable than it should have been. Overall, it is a convenient stopover if you prioritize location and friendly service.

  Leider kann ich über die offizielle IHG App oder Website keinerlei Feedback zu meinem letzten Aufenthalt geben. Dann eben über Google Maps. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt hier sehr angenehm. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und entgegenkommende Personal, das uns bei jedem Problem zur Seite stand und Lösungen parat hatte. Das Hotel ist typisch Holiday Inn Express einfach und funktional eingerichtet. Es liegt an einer Bahnhaltestelle, wovon es nur ca 30 Minuten nach Downtown London sind. Die Zimmer sind schlicht eingerichtet, haben aber alles notwendige. Leider gibt es keine Klimaanlagen in den Zimmern. Das Hotel liegt an einer Durchgangsstraße, Zimmer zur Straße sind morgens relativ laut. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, typisch englisch eben. Hinter dem Hotel sind kostenlose Parkplätze verfügbar. Supermärkte gibt es in Lauf Abstand sowie einen kleinen Pub. Ansonsten ist die Gegend sehr ruhig. Für unsere Zwecke als Familie für einen Städtetrip nach London sehr gut geeignet. Von den fehlenden Klimaanlagen abgesehen würden wir hier sehr sicher wieder übernachten.

  Stayed one night with a group of friends in 5 rooms. Check-in quick, staff helpful and friendly. Free parking with plenty of spaces. Was advised no air-con in rooms but fans were available. Air duct in room provided some air but was very noisy, windows don't open very far but it wasn't too bad. Beds very comfortable, tea making facilities provided and decent toiletries in the shower (no bath.) Decent pub just 1 minute walk away on the canal. Breakfast was very good with juice, cereals, croissants and tea plus a decent hot, cooked selection. Reasonably priced it was perfect for our stay.
