After just completing our stay at the Hatfield premises, I can honestly say the whole team of staff there are beyond helpful. Lovely welcoming smiles each time we came back from London itself. Full of patience when our trains were unfortunately delayed or even cancelled meaning we got back rather late for evening meals, but not once did the young man (Sam) ever make us feel rushed hurried or unwanted, a true credit to your team. He was very kind and helped our children with alternative menus options after running out of items (though he didn’t need to apologise we know these things happen).
The lovely lady at the front desk who checked us in was helpful kind and polite with a warm smile and a good morning and enjoy your day as we ventured out, every day. The rest of the staff attending to us for both breakfast and dinner during our stay were also friendly and and joy to have met, it was great to chat to them about the local area and get an insight into what’s changed and what’s still about and a to chat about their lives too as I used to live in the area.
I truly cannot recommend this site enough, it’s comfortable, clean and accessible, and with the new addition they are building I hope you are open for many years to come.
PS the air conditioning in the rooms was absolutely amazing considering we stayed during yet another 2026 heatwave.
All the best everyone from Nik, Emma, Christopher and William.

Booked this as last resort after a bad experience at Premier inn Camberely. This is worse that the Camberley one. The towel rail is filthy ...see picture. I was not inforned at time of booking that there were construction works. The rooms are worn and tired. Luckily the aircon was working. I would not recommend this Premier Inn and the one in Cambereley

Standard premier inn really. What set it apart for me, was the service. An Eastern European lady (I forget her name) was brilliant, very attentive and welcoming. Will be staying again.

Staff service was fab. Room was clean and tidy. Room had operational air conditioning and opening windows (with limiters for safety). Dining room (with bar) for breakfast and evening meals. Limited but options for vegetarians. Currently some construction going on site but not impacting on the quality of stay. On site free parking available.

The hotel is currently being refurbished - it didn't impact my stay much but in the past I've been made aware before arriving which wasn't the case for this hotel.
The rooms are very dated and the furniture is questionable at best. The plugs don't have USB ports so if you forget your charger you're cooked. I'd hope that when the works are complete this will be sorted as there also isn't a lift so if you're upstairs and have heavy bags you have to carry them up.
The one saving grace is that the room had air con! I stayed 7/7 and had a good night's sleep due to this. The location is fairly good too we drove about 20 mins to cheshunt to get the weaver line to tottenham hotspurs for a concert.
I was very disappointed though as the rooms wasn't not at the normal standard for premier inn.
