We always stay in a Premier Inn as we find the service fantastic. The beds are absolutely out of this world, so comfortable. Room is lovely and clean. Staff member Jeff was very professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

A member of the dinner staff made me feel unwelcome as I was the only man of colour in the establishment must of been the reason. I had to get service myself and still wait 1hour for a cold dessert. Even a member of the public came up to me and was appalled at how I was treated. I sat with my finished dinner plate on my table whilst other tables was spotless. I was left eating my dessert with a dinner plate beside me until I got up and left. I will never return to this place in my life. I regularly use premier inn as I work around the country and I will be telling staff to refrain from using them in the future.

This hotel has had a recent face-lift with the latest room designs. Very clean room and exceptionally comfortable beds - we are seriously considering buying the mattress for home! I like the addition of phone charging sockets on each side of the bed. We had the meal deal and enjoyed really well cooked food. For the evening meal, I had the mixed grill which had one of the best cooked steaks I've had in a very long time, we made sure the chef was thanked. Breakfast the next morning was all you could eat and set us up for the day ahead. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return very soon.

the dinner service was absolutely shocking. came down for dinner at 7:30pm, orders taken pretty promptly. however before ordering we could very clearly hear the chef say ‘no more orders’ which was off putting. 20 minutes after we had ordered I was told I couldn’t have what I chose. we then waited another 40 minutes, other guests were evidently unhappy and the couple sat next to us told us they had been waiting since 7pm and it was now 8:30pm. Also, during this the charming chef had walked out for 10 minutes whilst there were at least 5 tables waiting for their food, although I’m sure she was knackered after using the microwave so much. My partner had ordered nachos, fairly easy dish to make, the waitress took these over to another table and the guests said they didn’t order them and she took them away, whilst rolling her eyes with an obvious attitude. The nachos were then left on the side for a good 30 minutes, and I wouldn’t have been surprised if these were served to us. In the end, after waiting an hour for our food we decided to give up and just pay for our drinks, but of course there was no one at the bar. The waitresses, apart from the one with attitude, were lovely and as a previous hotel employee, I could completely empathise with them as they were clearly understaffed. However, a simple update or complimentary drink would’ve gone a long way, instead of leaving guests waiting for 1+ hours for food with no communication. This completely put us off having breakfast, dinner or even just getting a drink from the bar.
