And they shut the bar and restaurant at 9.30. They claim "it's the law" which of course it isn't. I wouldn't come here again.
- SLSusan LawSep 17, 20261.0I arrived after 2am, having had no luck finding accommodation. I was advised that one room was available, so I was relieved and grateful. However, due to arriving after midnight, the price was over 200 pounds, sterling. The person on duty was most helpful and sympathetic, but had no discretion on the matter. He had to charge what the computer said. Therefore, I declined the room. So had a previous customer. Premier Inn could have sold the room twice! I was exhausted. It was after 2am. I had no choice but to drive on and sleep in a lay-by, which was frightening. The accommodation Premier Inn offers is basic, and at this one beer cans filled a waste bin outside. It felt decidedly down beat. How can Premier Inn expect, or justify so much money for their room. Not impressed by this company. As a lone female, in need of accommodation, I found it very disappointing. Thank you to the kind staff member on night duty, but shame on Premier Inn
