Room: lots of space in the bedroom but the shower and bath is not suitable for anyone over 5’6”. It’s a pitched roof and the shower was as high as it can go, but it’s still not suitable. Strongly advise anyone who is human sized to avoid. Service: “We are very busy for food” .There were three tables filled. That’s a poor excuse. The food here is the worst I have had at a premier hotel. Had a curry - naan bread (which is extra) was not cooked, rice tasted sweet and like it was old, you do not get much chicken at all, so much coriander it was like a small bush! Beer wasn’t too bad. Breakfast was vile - “cooked to order” except it was cooked yesterday and now cold. Vile tasting mushrooms, old and nasty. Everything else tasted really odd. I had enough and walked off. Staff didn’t really care. Location - by a main road but not too bad but the entrance is awful, beware anyone with slightly lower ground clearance than a Range Rover. Pulling out of the car park is dangerous as you can’t see what’s coming. I would stay anywhere else - like in the town.

Disappointing stay. The entrance to the Premier Inn car park is horrendous, if you came in after dark you could seriously damage your car. Bath dirty on arrival. We asked for room service on our first day, really just to restock the loo roll (sheets not rolls), this did not happen so we were supplied with some but no key so not able to put in holder. We were assured that we would have room service the next day, came back at 3pm, still not done, took the hanger off the door as going in the morning so a little pointless now. On the plus side the staff were helpful and friendly.

Rooms where fine but watch out, i got a charge for parking in their parking lot - as a guest. Their hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so the only reason for this parking camera is a predatory fee for unsuspecting guests. I don't personally like my hotels sending me fines. Also, no warning form the reception, you would think they would be kind enough to help avoid this fine - never had an issue with a Premier Inn, but now i have.

We stayed at the premier inn in order to visit a local winery. It's a little isolated but there is a good reliable taxi service, if you don't want to use your car. The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable. The food in the restaurant was prepared to order, so a little wait was inevitable. The choice was good. The best was the staff. The girls were amazing, despite often being under constant pressure. Special thanks to Lauren, Lara, Nisha, Rosie and Emily, each of whom made us feel special and valued. We will.look forward to returning
