  Had a great stay at Premier Inn West Southampton. The hotel was lovely and clean throughout, with a great big car park and plenty of spaces available. The reception area was clean and welcoming, and the staff on the desk were really friendly and happy to have a good conversation, which always makes a difference. The room was clean and well presented, and the highlight of the stay was definitely the breakfast. I stay away with Premier Inn around twice a week, so I've had my fair share of their breakfasts, and this was honestly one of the best I've had in a while. I stayed here years ago, when breakfast was served in the attached pub, and I remember it being a pretty disappointing experience. Moving breakfast into the Premier Inn itself seems to have made a huge difference, and the improvement is clear. All in all, a really positive experience. Great staff, clean facilities, plenty of parking and an excellent breakfast. Five stars from me, and I'd happily stay here again.

  Staff were great. Breakfast team very accommodating of dietary requirements. Hugely appreciated by our family. Breakfast lived up to the usual expectations of a Premier Inn breakfast and went down a treat. Sadly, the hotel itself needs some love. Rooms not cleaned fully with dust and cobwebs visible. Carpets need cleaning throughout. Decorating needed throughout as it is getting somewhat tired.

  Where i stay in premier inn as much as possible and tend not to look elsewhere this one has fallen well short of expectations. If there was a hotel that required an update this is the one. Very very tired, worn, stained and dirty including inside the room. Also previous guests hair long hair over the duvet. See pictures. Unfortunately pictures won't upload so have put on TripAdvisor. I will say check in was quick and easy although antiquated and analogue type. No tech here. Also, it was usual premier inn quiet. I'll not go into attached restaurant/bar it's a means only. The Vine which is a Hungry Horse. Don't expect a new updated premier inn.

  I wouldn’t stay here if cleanliness and hygiene are important to you. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere, a dead bug stuck in the cobweb, water marks on the glasses and possibly mould on the bathroom wall and soap dispenser. The staff were friendly although I did unexpectedly get charged an extra fee for a date change that happened months before my stay. Good location, just a few minutes drive from Paulton’s Park but I don’t think the proximity is worth living in a dirty room for the night.

  Stayed for two nights in September over a weekend. Staff were all polite and helpful from arrival, and throughout our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent quality fan provided too. A little noisy, but all due to our room neighbours stomping around and making noise in their rooms . Zero noise from outside. The room itself does need a little TLC, with a picture missing from the wall and the carpet clearly in need of a deep clean, but the beds and bathroom were clean. Price wise we paid more than what we’d usually pay for a Premier inn but I suspect that’s due to the location near Peppa Pig world, which is just 4 minutes away by car. Overall a good stay, and great location for visiting Peppa Pig world.
