Rooms are okay, there aren't any standard uk Plugs beside the beds, only usb ports. The air con in my room was abysmal during 30+ degree heat. Food is okay, nothing to shout about. There isn't a whole lot of parking available.
This is the scuzziest premier inn I have ever stayed in. It smells, is grungy, and frankly was afraid the carpet had fleas.
The bathrooms have been newly remodelled (yay), but its location is such that unless access to the airport is your priority its in the middle of no where... no restaurants, limited food delivery, and a significant hike into the city.
We stayed there before a cruise, and an Uber to the port was £35.

Premier Inn alleges they have a "Good Night Guarantee", where if you don't get a good night's sleep and you draw the issue to their attention right away and they don't fix it, they will refund your stay. This hotel and the chain have refused to honour their guarantee. We booked this hotel specifically because it had air conditioning. It was a hot day (June 25, 2026). There was a little stream of cool air coming from the A/C vent but the room thermostat, set to 19°C, shows (and we have photos) that it was at 28°C and never went below 27.5°C (81°F) the whole night and next morning. We had a miserable hot night. They gave us a desk fan but the room never got cool enough to be comfortable. As well, I couldn't work in the room all evening and had to work in the lobby bar for hours, on an uncomfortable chair. Premier Inn has refused to honour their guarantee, with no excuse except to allege that the A/C was working. We are appalled as this lack of customer service.
FOLLOWUP: I posted the above on July 4, 2026. The "Response from the owner" posted below on July 8, 2026 claims that they care, that they want to know what happened and that we should contact Premier Inn Guest Relations. This is absolute nonsense, posted for PR purposes. Before I posted, we already had three rounds of emails with Premier Inn Guest Relations, who told us they had spoke with the hotel management and that no refund will be provided, for the specious reason that the air conditioning "was working". (I do not consider 27.5°C or 28°C consistently over 18 hours to mean that it is "working", merely because a small stream of cool air comes out.) The third email from Guest Relations, after we had twice asked for it to be escalated to management, said this was their "final resolution" and that they would not correspond further with us on this matter.
I consider Premier Inn's Good Night Guarantee to be a scam that the chain does not honour, and have complained to the UK Advertising Standards Authority. Be warned!!

I arrived here for an overnight stay tonight 25th June 2026 to discover the lock on my case wouldn’t open. A girl called Roman was extremely helpful, after trying with my key she brought up some tools and with great effort managed to break the lock off. I couldn’t thank her enough as she worked so hard with Respiration rolling off her. She is a GEM. THANK YOU SO MUCH Roman for the great job you did without one complaint.

What a brilliant team. Given I was a bit tired, hot and grumpy on arrival the guy at check in and the restaurant staff were so helpful and cheerful, they soon turned my grump off with the great and efficient service. The beef chilli nachos were just what I needed.
