Pretty good for a premier inn. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Didn't hear nor see any of the room service folks which was a pleasant surprise compared to previous premier inn stays. Air conditioning was amazing as it was a warm weekend. Modern shower that was spacious and did the job well. Comfy beds and fully functional utilities. My only complaint was all the construction noise right under our window between 7-8am, not great first thing after a bit of a late night.

Says it's Port Solent but then at least a 20 min walk there. Service was slow checking in and also getting a drink at the bar. Room was nice and spacious.

I have stayed at this venue on multiple occasions and, while the staff are generally friendly and helpful, it is evident that they are often placed under significant pressure due to the level of service expected of them and the sheer volume of responsibilities they are required to manage. For example, during the bank holiday breakfast service, only two members of staff were responsible for approximately 200 seats. This is clearly inadequate. They were expected to clear tables, replenish breakfast items, maintain cleanliness, check guests in, and manage the reception desk simultaneously. Unsurprisingly, this resulted in staff rushing between tasks and struggling to meet demand. This is not a reflection of the staff’s ability or commitment, but rather a failure of management planning. Expecting service standards to remain unaffected under such conditions is unrealistic and creates an environment where mistakes and poor guest experiences become inevitable. The same can be said about the housekeeping, over allocation of rooms per cleaner coupled with designated time to complete the their duties felt like I didn’t want to put anymore pressure on the staff for a room clean on a daily basis. Family rooms do need more storage as a single hanger wardrobe was far from ideal for a weeks stay.

It would be 5 stars if you didn't have to pay for parking but it is a reasonable price. Very nice modern hotel with a small restaurant that is inside the hotel not attached to it like a lot of the older ones have. Reasonably priced food too although the drinks are expensive. Was quite painless to stay here although we did get noisy people with kids in the room next to ours. We were in bed before the children in the next room were so they were quite disruptive to our getting to sleep. Walls are obviously quite thin.
