    It's never good to greeted by a bathroom that hasn't been cleaned properly. This was how I was introduced to my room, see the photo of the toilet bowl. Now, I don't want to denigrate the cleaners, they have a severe schedule and have to operate like machines to get the rooms cleaned in time. This is fully at Whitbread's door, they set the rates and they choose the contractor, it's fairly obvious that there just isn't quite enough time to clean the rooms "properly". Some will wonder why I didn't let the reception staff know, but I'll tell you why, they would simply move me to another room, and that would be that, nothing changes. A length review sometimes gets noticed. Rest of the room? Adequate. Rooms here have had a refresh in last couple of years, so not so tired and individual AC was present. The location is fairly crappy, but hey, I wasn't on holiday, but if I was, I'd be unhappy with the location. As always, hats to the staff, they remain Premier Inn's chief asset. Please pay your cleaners a bit more...

    Dried semen on bed This had happened a few years ago. But, it cropped up in my mind again, so it is time for me to reveal. The annoying receptionist had once said it is 'non-refundable'. But, do not let them trick you into thinking you cannot get the money back. Irrespective of what I did at the time, what I can tell you is this — it is very important Due to the Customer Rights Act 2015, services must meet a good level of hygiene. A bed with dried semen on it is a serious failure of basic hygiene. They should not get away with this. So, if you face a similar situation, you should use Chargeback, to reverse a card payment, make a court claim for money or submit a refund request within 7 days via the Premier Inn Contact Form. 0/5 stars

    Great location rooms we're clean with air conditioning staff very efficient and friendly have used this hotel before and will use again ideal if you have a ferry crossing

    Needed and extension lead so asked at reception and was given one for my stay. Room was clean and the air con worked a treat in the heatwave keeping the room cool.

    My son had been taken seriously ill and was having a late night, emergency operation. I do not live in the area and having spent hours and hours of waiting at the hospital, I needed a room for the night. There were no taxi’s available late at night from the hospital, so I walked 40 minutes to the Premier Inn. Rather list and in the dark. Becky on reception could see the moment I walked into reception I was a woman on the edge! I was crying, very tired and stressed. Becky could not have been kinder. She asked if I had eaten (which I hadn’t) and she quickly dashed into the back room and produced a huge packet of biscuits. She was very kind. My room was spotlessly clean, with endless tea/coffee. In the morning I saw Becky again and thanked her so much for helping me. Plus for the biscuits, which turned into a late supper and breakfast! Absolutely 10/10 customer service and a much needed comfy retreat for me to recharge, ready for my return to hospital.
