  Converted large pub. Works well as budget hotel. Lots of parking. Good base for cycle touring New Forest or IoW via Lymington ferry.

  We are right by the New Forest but with Lymington, New Barton, Mudeford and Christchurch nearby on the coast so the best of both environments. It's very quiet and peaceful, but whether it was in the peak of summer I don't know. There's plenty of car parking space which is free once you register your car. The room we had has been redecorated recently I would think and was spotlessly clean.

  Budget hotel which we have stayed at previously. Sadly locals are no longer allowed in so it’s not a pub setting. That said it makes it ideal for visitors wanting a quiet stay as there literally is no noise. They had very few staff on at any one time but they worked so hard and always with a willingness to please their guests with a personal service from reception help, waitressing and managing the bar. They went the extra mile to give me a lovely birthday too. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast (cooked to order) was perfect and the evening meal was pretty good too. We will stay again in the future and we were sad to say goodbye to the lovely staff, Kirsten the manager, Mia, Amelia, Gemma, Charlie, Zoe and others too x

  Premier Plus room needs some attention, although I know there are improvements planned at this location. Photos show headboard on bed and bathroom skirting board. Dining room is not good. Tables are sticky and not very nice. Only one member of staff serving all guests resulted in a long waiting time. Poor lady was doing her best but rushed off her feet. It was embarrassing to see her struggle. Manager eventually came to help, but should’ve been there much sooner. This is not the way to treat staff. Apparently it’s a regular occurrence, not just a one off.

  Where to start? Good location for where I am working. The exterior gives of a ‘ war torn’ vibe. The staff, warm, welcoming and good advice on local eateries (The Plough. Fantastic food and beer choices) The room is showing signs of ‘in need of a renovation’ The less said about the breakfast experience, the better? Arrived at 06:30hrs as arranged when booking in. Nothing (NOTHING!) was ready. I had to turn on the coffee machine to get it going. After 15 mins of no staff detected, I had to go and find them myself. Eventually, they took my cooked food order. I was finally served 07:00hrs. So now I am running late. Other observations, lots of fruit flies in the breakfast room, the sticky table tops probably didn’t help? Milk spills on the breakfast table. Lots of flies around the six (6) pieces of bread available (no thank you) no other pastries available either. The whole breakfast thing was depressing, and I will have to do it again tomorrow. Not ideal for the amount they charge these days. Do better Premier Inn Lymington.
