  A Premier Inn, surrounded by a motorway and busy dual carriageway. The hotel's restaurant is closing in September but is already closed in July... no food or drink available most of the week! Due to the location, there also isn't really any other restaurants/pubs within walking distance, nor accessible public transport. The rooms are meant to have air conditioning, but sadly it is completely ineffective and did not cool down the room when the temperature outside was 25c - would be even worse in hotter weather. The windows were at least effective at blocking road noise. Not a Premier Inn I'd return to... sadly the chain has really gone down hill and there is no reason to pick them over any other hotel available locally.

  I stayed here for one night (a Monday evening) for a work trip. We arrived early evening, still plenty of spaces left in the car park, there was a friendly and welcoming lady on reception who got us checked in and when requested was able to provide a short list of restaurants locally. The rooms were fantastic (premier plus room), clean, tidy and well presented. Baylis & Harding products in the bathroom, waterfall shower, mini fridge, iron and ironing board in the room. All round nice place to stay. Only down side to mention was the onsite restaurant was closed and only opened for breakfast during our stay.

  All was fine apart from the communication at reception. We booked for breakfast when arriving but turns out that the rules are that each day has to be booked separately. There is not notice or communication about this, and we were turned away for breakfast on second day, despite pre payment and mentioning during the first day. Main feedback will be to let customers know properly in advance! Expect better from Premier Inn.

  Pretty average / not great stay. I usually really like a premier inn stay but this one was really not great. The location was fine, it was near the motorway. The room was good too, we paid extra for premier plus. The service wasn’t great when we arrived but that’s fine, it was late. We went down for breakfast the next morning, we were then basically told off for not booking a table even though no one asked us to book one (turns out reception was meant to ask us), so we had to be seated next to the toilets which stank. It was then not a buffet, I think advertising it as an unlimited buffet when you have to order is extremely misleading. The whole place felt really dirty and frankly we couldn’t leave quick enough. If you have to come then get food elsewhere.
