  Not a bad experience. Family room & bathroom was clean enough & had aircon. Keep away from the restaurant. Filthy. Barely any staff. Over an hour for food. Run down. Made a nice complaint afterwards.

  Not overly impressed with my visit to this premier inn. I stay at a premier inn every week somewhere in the UK for work purposes. The hotel was booked the Friday before. ( Following Wednesday booking) I tried calling the hotel reception every day to request a top floor room and book a table for the evening meal. Could not get through to reception at all. Eventually called the booking line yesterday to request the room and book the table and made a point of not being able to get in touch with the hotel.my request was apparently done with the national booking staff. Upon arrival the table was booked but not the room. It seemed too much bother for the staff member to try get me a room that I requested,but did move me from the ground floor by the entrance. I asked what time the restaurant opens, as haven't eaten all day and wanted a table asap. Was told 17.30. arrived at the restaurant dead on 17.30 and it already had around 4/5 tables eating. Asked a different member of staff who took my order what time you open and I was told 17.00 seems like not everyone knows the opening times and basically there was no fish, rice or coleslaw available, so a lot of the menu. Very disappointed. Shall try to avoid this hotel in the future, which is ashame. My hotel last week ( premier inn epsom south) was excellent. Why can't premier inns be consistent.

  I’d echo the sentiment of others - the hotel itself is well located and the rooms are nice. Unfortunately our stay was let down by the service and we’d be unlikely to return for that reason. We waited 20minutes to check in on a Friday evening around 7pm, continuously pressing the buzzer. We then tried to grab a meal in the restaurant next door - the staff seemed reluctant to seat us and we soon learnt why! So many people around us were complaining about the food itself and the wait! There was one young lad taking the brunt but no one around to help him. Barman content with polishing glasses behind the bar rather than mucking in with the team. We sat for 30minutes but nobody came to take our order so we left and drove 5mins down the road to the travelodge where the service was night and day! I have always classed premier inn as a safer bet but our experience was brand damaging. More salt rubbed in the following morning when we went to check out and 4 staff members sat on reception - where were they the night before?!

  Hotel itself is not bad comfortable sleep but restaurant is actually joke ,worse dinner and Bf in my life , bf £12 each only fruit and juice for buffet but actual Bf need to order eggs like plastic very cold after 1hr waiting one bacon, one egg,one sausage and spoon of beans coffee machine don’t work food is not even *
